Sayyed al-Houthi: Yemen on High Alert as Gaza Ceasefire Begins
The Yemeni leader warns that vigilance and full readiness must continue during the implementation of the ceasefire; the struggle against Zionist and American aggression is far from over.
Yemen, PUREWILAYAH.COM — Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, Leader of the Yemeni Revolution, stated that the newly reached agreement regarding Gaza confirms the failure of both the Israeli enemy and its American backer to achieve the goals they had sought to impose in this round of confrontation.
In his televised address on Thursday, Sayyed al-Houthi declared that the enemy’s failure had forced it to sign the agreement, describing the development as merely one round in the ongoing and continuous struggle with the Zionist enemy.
He stressed that the destructive American role within the Zionist agenda remains active and dangerous.
“We Will Remain Fully Alert and Watchful”
Sayyed al-Houthi affirmed that Yemen will remain in a state of full alertness, complete readiness, and careful monitoring during the implementation phase of the agreement that aims to end the aggression against the Gaza Strip and allow the entry of humanitarian aid.
He expressed his hope that the agreement would finally halt the genocide against the Palestinian people and that the enemy would commit to the ceasefire, emphasizing that this has always been the core objective of Yemen’s support and involvement from the very beginning.
A Reminder: This Is Only One Round of a Long Struggle
The Yemeni leader underscored the importance of maintaining awareness that this agreement represents merely one round of a broader and ongoing confrontation.
“The enemies continue to pursue their plots, conspiracies, and ambitions through multiple tracks,” he warned, stressing that the issue is not limited to this latest genocidal campaign but extends to all of Palestine and the continuous American-Israeli targeting of the entire Ummah.
Sayyed al-Houthi noted that the Zionist enemy has always prepared for new aggressions after every round of conflict.
Therefore, he said, even if the ceasefire holds, the nations of the region must always remain prepared for the inevitable upcoming battles, given the aggressive and arrogant tendencies of the enemies of this Ummah.
The Ongoing Struggle Against Tyranny
He emphasized that the nations of the Resistance are targeted by the enemies’ corruption, deception, and tyranny — by both their “soft war” of cultural and psychological subversion and their “hard war” of direct military aggression, as well as their economic and propaganda warfare.
“The struggle with the enemies continues,” he said. “In its general scope, this is a battle being fought at the highest levels — a confrontation in which the adversaries aim to destroy our Ummah, enslave it, and erase its identity.”
In response, Sayyed al-Houthi called for adherence to the Equation of Liberation — a strategic doctrine that insists on expelling the enemies from the region, repelling their evil, and breaking free from their domination.
Liberation: The Path to Security and Dignity
He explained that this Equation of Liberation — to rid the region of its occupiers — is what guarantees the Ummah’s security, complete independence, deterrence capability, and protection from tyranny.
It is also, he said, the path toward restoring Palestine and the sacred sanctities.
Sayyed al-Houthi urged all peoples of the Resistance Axis to remain at the highest levels of awareness, caution, and preparedness, and to sustain their immense momentum in rallying around the steadfast Palestinian people.
Yemen’s Position: Conditional on Implementation
Concluding his address, the Yemeni leader stated that Yemen will carefully observe how the agreement unfolds:
“If the agreement achieves its intended results, then that will be a welcome outcome — and it is what we hope for. But if not, we will continue along our course of support and backing for Palestine.”
He added that Yemen will continue to closely monitor developments, maintaining full coordination with its Palestinian brothers, with the Axis of Resistance, and with the free people of the world.
“Our eyes remain fixed on Gaza, and our hearts remain with its people,” Sayyed al-Houthi affirmed. “We will continue to stand alongside them, with vigilance, solidarity, and unwavering commitment.” (PW)
