Resistance Security Warns Over Hostile Aerial Surveillance in Gaza
Intensive enemy reconnaissance flights detected over central Gaza and Khan Younis, prompting heightened security alert
Palestine, PUREWILAYAH.COM — Resistance Security forces in the Gaza Strip monitored hostile aerial reconnaissance activity on Sunday evening, marked by intensive flights of surveillance aircraft maneuvering in tight, circular patterns over the enclave.
According to a statement issued by Resistance Security, the flights were particularly concentrated over several areas in the Central Governorate and Khan Younis Governorate, raising serious security concerns.
Heightened Security Alert Issued
Resistance Security stressed that such aerial activity requires raising the level of security readiness and treating any unusual or abnormal air movement as a potential security threat.
The statement underscored the necessity of vigilance in light of the occupation’s continued use of aerial surveillance as a precursor to assassinations, strikes, or intelligence-gathering operations.
Security Recommendations to the Public
In the same context, Resistance Security issued a set of urgent recommendations, including:
Raising the level of caution and alertness at all times
Securing movements and avoiding predictable patterns
Calmly alerting individuals in the immediate vicinity without causing panic or confusion
The statement also emphasized the need to refrain from any exposed activity and to avoid the use of insecure communication methods, in full accordance with field safety and operational security requirements.
Ongoing Genocide Against Gaza
Since 7 October 2023, the Israeli occupation, with full American and European backing, has been carrying out a campaign of genocide in the Gaza Strip, involving killing, starvation, destruction, forced displacement, and mass arrests.
These crimes continue in blatant disregard of international appeals and binding orders issued by the International Court of Justice demanding an end to the genocide.
The genocidal campaign has resulted in more than 241,000 Palestinians killed or injured, the vast majority of them women and children.
More than 11,000 people remain missing, alongside hundreds of thousands displaced from their homes.
In addition, a man-made famine has claimed the lives of many Palestinians—most of them children—as a direct consequence of the occupation’s siege, starvation policy, and obstruction of humanitarian aid. (PW)
