Resistance Security: Israel Targets Refugee Tents with Incendiary Drones
Residents urged to stay vigilant after occupation drones dropped fuel-filled charges near displaced persons’ tents
Palestine, PUREWILAYAH.COM – The Resistance Security apparatus in Gaza issued a security warning on Sunday evening after detecting Israeli occupation drones dropping boxes containing canisters filled with gasoline, wired with detonators, near tents of displaced civilians in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood of northern Gaza.
The devices, according to the statement, were aimed at setting fire to the shelters of displaced families.
Instructions for Civilians
The Resistance Security urged residents to adhere strictly to precautionary measures in the event such boxes are dropped. Key instructions include:
Do not approach the devices under any circumstances.
Move to a safe distance and evacuate the area immediately.
Prevent children and bystanders from coming near.
Report directly through Resistance Security channels or via the “Al-Haris” platform.
Part of Psychological Warfare
The statement stressed that such tactics form part of the occupation’s psychological warfare and criminal aggression against Gaza’s civilian population.
It emphasized the importance of maintaining vigilance and discipline to safeguard lives.
Ongoing Resistance
Meanwhile, Palestinian factions continue to confront Israeli forces penetrating several areas of the Gaza Strip, following the Israeli army’s resumption of its blockade and military campaign after a two-month pause under a ceasefire agreement that began on January 19.
That truce was repeatedly violated by the occupation throughout its duration.
Since October 7, 2023, Israeli forces—backed directly by the United States and Western countries—have waged a devastating war on Gaza.
According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Strip, the assault has resulted in the martyrdom and injury of nearly 234,000 Palestinians to date. (PW)
