Resistance Factions Reject Trump Gaza Plan, Calling it “Document of Surrender”
Hamas and other Palestinian factions unanimously dismiss U.S. President Donald Trump’s proposal, calling it a framework of submission that undermines Palestinian sovereignty.
Palestine, PUREWILAYAH.COM – Palestinian resistance factions, led by Hamas, have unanimously rejected U.S. President Donald Trump’s newly announced Gaza plan, describing it as a “document of surrender and suicide.”
Hani al-Dali, an analyst and expert on Palestinian resistance affairs, said that there is “no difference or disagreement” among the factions regarding their stance, affirming their unity against the plan.
According to al-Dali, the proposal is viewed as an attempt to subjugate Palestinians and undermine their sovereignty, and therefore requires a national and unified response.
“A Document of Surrender and Suicide”
Al-Dali stressed that the plan is not a traditional ceasefire initiative but rather a framework of submission, designed to weaken the resistance and impose external control over Gaza.
He explained that while Hamas is carefully reviewing the proposal out of responsibility to the Palestinian people, its rejection is certain:
“Hamas insists that the response be national and from all factions, reflecting a collective stance against external pressures on Gaza.”
The most alarming clauses, he said, include attempts to impose non-Palestinian administration of the Gaza Strip and the demand for resistance disarmament—both of which Hamas and other factions categorically oppose.
Trump’s 72-Hour Deadline Deemed “Meaningless”
The analyst dismissed Trump’s 72-hour deadline for Hamas to respond, saying it is “meaningless” in light of the necessary internal consultations. Resistance factions are engaged in continuous dialogue with mediating countries and relevant stakeholders to formulate a collective position.
Al-Dali emphasized that while Hamas may show openness to efforts toward a ceasefire, any acceptance is conditional on addressing the root causes of the war—including the occupation, blockade, and systematic aggression against Gaza.
Regional Mediation Efforts Ongoing
According to Reuters, Egypt and Qatar have already briefed Hamas on Trump’s plan. The White House confirmed that Trump discussed the proposal with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, framing it as a deal supported by “Arab and Islamic leaders.”
The White House announced that if both parties accept, the war would end immediately.
However, resistance factions maintain that any agreement must go beyond temporary ceasefire arrangements and address the fundamental Palestinian demands:
Ending the occupation.
Lifting the blockade of Gaza.
Preserving the right to armed resistance.
Resistance Stands Firm
As mediation continues, Hamas and allied factions remain resolute in rejecting what they describe as a “document of surrender.” Their stance reflects a unified national position, determined to protect Palestinian sovereignty, dignity, and resistance against external attempts to dictate the future of Gaza.
