Quds Day Rally Shows Iran’s National Strength: Ghalibaf
Ghalibaf says massive Quds Day rallies across Iran showed national strength and defiance after attacks targeted march routes in Tehran.
Iran, PUREWILAYAH.COM — Speaker of the Iranian Parliament Mohammad-Bagher Ghalibaf praised the massive public participation in this year’s International Quds Day rallies, describing it as a powerful demonstration of Iran’s national strength and unity.
In a message released following the nationwide marches, Ghalibaf thanked the Iranian people for responding to the call of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatullah Sayyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei, and for taking part in the rallies despite difficult circumstances.
He said the presence of large crowds across the country represented a decisive response to the crimes of what he described as an aggressive enemy.
Marches Continue Despite Attacks on Demonstration Routes
According to Ghalibaf, the rallies were held even as the enemy carried out attacks targeting areas along the march routes in Tehran.
“The widespread and passionate participation of the Iranian people in this year’s International Quds Day march, in response to the call of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatullah Sayyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei, was a shining manifestation of courage, awareness, responsibility, and the Iranian nation’s commitment to Islamic and human ideals,” the statement said.
He added that the turnout proved the Iranian nation continues to stand firmly in decisive moments and regards defending the oppressed and confronting aggression as both a historical and humanitarian duty.
Renewed Loyalty to the Ideals of the Islamic Revolution
Ghalibaf also described the marches as a reflection of the Iranian people’s independence, dignity, and loyalty to the ideals of the Islamic Revolution and its leaders.
He said the presence of citizens in the streets during what he called one of the most historic periods in Iran’s contemporary history demonstrated the nation’s determination to resist oppression.
“The awakened conscience of this brave nation will never be silenced in the face of injustice and violence, no matter the threats or attacks,” Ghalibaf stated.
The parliament speaker concluded that the Iranian people have once again shown their decisive role in critical historical moments, expressing confidence that their courage, unity, and awareness could shape a brighter future for both the country and the wider region. (PW)
