Precision Strike: Al-Qassam Snipes Israeli Soldiers in Gaza Ambush
Part of “David’s Stones” operations, the video shows sniper attack and explosive ambush on invading Israeli forces in al-Shujaiya amid ongoing battles in Operation Al-Aqsa Flood.
Palestine, PUREWILAYAH.COM - The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian resistance group Hamas, released new combat footage on Friday showing its fighters sniping and ambushing Israeli occupation soldiers in the al-Shujaiya neighborhood, east of Gaza City.
The video, published as part of the group’s ongoing “David’s Stones” operations, captured the moment an Al-Qassam sniper struck an Israeli soldier using a “Ghoul” rifle in the axis of Israeli ground incursion in the area.
The footage shows the soldier collapsing to the ground, triggering visible confusion among surrounding troops. Israeli soldiers are seen retreating in panic, abandoning their wounded comrade. A short time later, another soldier returns to drag the injured soldier to safety, while an Israeli bulldozer working at the site hurriedly withdraws.
Footage Captures Explosive Ambush on Foot Patrol
In another scene, Al-Qassam fighters lured a foot patrol of Israeli soldiers into a trap, subsequently detonating two explosive charges—referred to as “television bombs”—in a coordinated ambush.
The footage appears to confirm the Brigades’ earlier statement, issued Wednesday, which reported that one of their fighters had successfully sniped an Israeli soldier on Tuesday, striking him directly on Baghdad Street, east of al-Shujaiya.
Israeli Army Confirms Officer Seriously Injured
On the same day, the Israeli occupation army acknowledged that an officer had been critically wounded during battles with Palestinian resistance forces in northern Gaza. The military did not disclose further details.
The series of Al-Qassam operations under the banner of “David’s Stones” is described as a direct response to Israel’s expanded ground assault, labeled “Gideon’s Chariots” by the Israeli army—a term used for its intensified invasion tactics in the Gaza Strip.
Palestinian resistance factions in Gaza continue their military efforts as part of Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, launched in response to the Israeli occupation’s aggression and repeated massacres against civilians in the besieged enclave.
Al-Qassam and allied groups emphasize that these operations are part of the broader battle to defend the Palestinian people and Islamic holy sites, vowing to continue resisting occupation forces on all fronts. (PW)
