Pezeshkian: Any Aggression Against Iran Will Be Met With a Crushing Response
Iranian officials have issued firm warnings that any act of aggression against the Country will be met with a harsh and regret-inducing response, amid escalating threats from the US and its allies
Iran, PUREWILAYAH.COM — Following threats issued overnight by the US president, Iranian officials have issued firm warnings that any act of aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran will be met with a harsh and regret-inducing response, underscoring Tehran’s rejection of intimidation and military pressure.
President Pezeshkian: Any Aggression Will Be Met With Regret
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated that Iran’s response to any unjust attack would be decisive and deterrent.
In a post published Tuesday on his official X account, Pezeshkian wrote:
“The response of the Islamic Republic of Iran to any tyrannical aggression will be harsh and will make the enemies regret it.”
The president’s remarks came in direct response to threats issued overnight by the US president, signaling Tehran’s rejection of intimidation and military coercion.
Shamkhani: Iran’s Doctrine Allows Preemptive Deterrence
Earlier, Ali Shamkhani, senior advisor to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution and former Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council (SNSC), addressed the growing rhetoric during a response to a joint press conference by Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu.
Shamkhani stated that Iran’s defense doctrine permits responses before threats are fully realized, emphasizing that deterrence is planned in advance, not improvised after an attack.
He stressed that Iran’s missile and defense capabilities are neither negotiable nor subject to external authorization, warning that any aggression would trigger an immediate and forceful response, the consequences of which would extend beyond the calculations of those planning it.
Tehran Signals Readiness Amid Escalating Threat Rhetoric
The coordinated statements from Iran’s president and senior defense officials underscore Tehran’s posture of strategic readiness and deterrence, as hostile rhetoric from Washington and Tel Aviv intensifies.
Iranian officials have repeatedly stated that while Tehran does not seek confrontation, it will respond decisively to any violation of its sovereignty, reinforcing its position that deterrence—not submission—remains the cornerstone of its national defense strategy. (PW)
