Palestinian Resistance Announce Major Operations Inside Gaza
Palestinian resistance factions in Gaza have consistently documented their operations against occupation forces and vehicles on multiple fronts.
Palestine, PUREWILAYAH.COM – The Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, released footage on Wednesday showing its fighters targeting Israeli occupation soldiers and military vehicles deep inside Gaza City.
Meanwhile, the al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, announced the execution of a “special operation.”
Qassam Brigades: Part of “Moses’ Staff” Operations
The Qassam Brigades said these strikes were carried out as part of the ongoing “Moses’ Staff” operations launched against Israeli occupation forces in response to “Gideon’s Chariots 2,” the Zionist campaign to occupy Gaza City.
The released footage included:
A precise sniper shot that struck an Israeli soldier directly, causing him to collapse instantly.
Strikes on several Israeli military vehicles using “Yassin 105” anti-armor rockets.
Mortar shells fired from various locations toward Israeli troop gatherings inside the city.
Al-Quds Brigades: “Special Operation” in Gaza City
For its part, the al-Quds Brigades announced that its fighters executed a “special operation” in the al-Nasr neighborhood of Gaza City. The operation involved detonating a booby-trapped house rigged with locally made explosives and re-engineered Israeli ordnance.
The statement revealed that:
An Israeli engineering unit entered the house to demolish it, at which point the building was detonated.
A “Hudhud” drone was deployed to document the moment the Israeli forces entered and the house exploded.
The explosion confirmed that all the soldiers inside were either killed or went missing, with no survivors reported.
The Brigades added that following the operation, the Israeli occupation launched extremely violent and unprecedented airstrikes around the site of the explosion.
Continued Resistance Strikes
On the same day, the al-Quds Brigades also declared that their fighters bombarded two Israeli settlements near the Gaza envelope with a salvo of rockets, in retaliation for ongoing crimes against the Palestinian people.
Earlier, Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz claimed that the army had tightened its siege on Gaza City after completing control over the Netzarim corridor, effectively separating the northern part of the Strip from the south.
The occupation had previously announced on September 21 that it was expanding its ground operations in Gaza City, part of a broader plan to gradually seize the entire Strip. This plan began on August 11 with multi-front incursions into the city.
Context of Resistance Operations
Since the start of the Israeli ground invasion on October 27, 2023, Palestinian resistance factions in Gaza have consistently documented their operations against occupation forces and vehicles on multiple fronts.
These factions have repeatedly executed successful ambushes, inflicting heavy human losses, destroying and disabling hundreds of military vehicles, and striking Israeli cities and settlements with medium- and long-range rockets. (PW)
