Only Fire Will Discipline You: Iran Warns After US-Israeli Ceasefire Violations
Iran warns of decisive retaliation after Israeli attacks on Lebanon violate ceasefire terms, exposing US complicity and pushing tensions toward escalation.
Iran, PUREWILAYAH.COM — Iran has issued a sharp warning following continued Israeli aggression on Lebanon, declaring that repeated violations of the ceasefire will be met with decisive force.
Ebrahim Azizi, head of the Iranian Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, stated that the Israeli occupation and its backers have once again demonstrated their disregard for agreements.
“Once again you have proven that you do not know the meaning of a ceasefire,” Azizi said, delivering a direct warning:
“Only fire will discipline you… So wait for it.”
He reiterated that the occupation entity understands only the language of force, emphasizing that Tehran is prepared to respond accordingly.
Israeli Aggression Continues Despite Ceasefire Framework
Within hours of the ceasefire announcement, Israeli forces violated the agreement, launching a wide-scale assault across Lebanon.
More than 100 airstrikes targeted multiple regions from the south to the Bekaa Valley and Beirut, resulting in mass civilian casualties.
According to the Lebanese Civil Defense, 254 people were martyred and 1,165 others wounded in a single wave of attacks, as residential areas and civilian infrastructure were heavily bombarded.
The scale of the assault has been widely described as a series of massacres, underscoring the collapse of the ceasefire framework before it could take effect.
Araghchi: US Must Choose Between Ceasefire or War
Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi stressed that the terms of the Iran–US ceasefire are “clear and explicit,” rejecting attempts by Washington to maintain both diplomacy and ongoing aggression.
“The United States cannot have both,” Araghchi stated in a post on X, referring to continued Israeli strikes on Lebanon despite the agreed framework.
He emphasized that the ceasefire explicitly includes Lebanon, meaning Israeli attacks represent a direct breach of the agreement.
Araghchi’s remarks place responsibility squarely on Washington, asserting that continued aggression through Israel constitutes a continuation of war under US cover.
Iran Weighs Withdrawal from Ceasefire
In a further escalation warning, sources cited by Tasnim News Agency revealed that Iran is actively studying the possibility of withdrawing from the ceasefire altogether if Israeli attacks persist.
Iranian armed forces are reportedly identifying potential targets in preparation for a response.
“If the United States is unable to restrain its rabid dog in the region, Iran will assist it in this matter, exceptionally, through force,” a source stated.
IRGC: Any Attack on Hezbollah Is an Attack on Iran
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps issued a strong warning, reaffirming its readiness to respond to continued aggression.
Brigadier General Majid Mousavi, commander of the IRGC Aerospace Force, declared:
“Any attack on the proud Hezbollah is an attack on Iran.”
He added that the battlefield is already preparing for a “crushing response” to what he described as the Israeli entity’s ongoing crimes.
US-Israeli Position Undermines Ceasefire
Iranian officials emphasized that their proposed framework for ending the war requires a comprehensive halt to all US and Israeli military operations across the region, including Lebanon.
However, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has stated that the two-week ceasefire does not include Lebanon—an assertion Tehran views as a direct violation of the agreement.
This position, backed by Washington, has effectively undermined the credibility of the ceasefire and exposed what Iranian officials describe as a pattern of coordinated US-Israeli aggression.
Regional Stability Hinges on Full Ceasefire
Iranian officials maintain that the current escalation is a direct consequence of continued US-Israeli violations and warn that regional stability remains dependent on a full and immediate ceasefire that includes Lebanon.
As violations persist, Tehran signals that the window for diplomacy is rapidly closing, with the prospect of a broader confrontation growing increasingly likely. (PW)
