Only 73 Aid Trucks Entered Gaza as Air-Dropped Supplies Fall in Combat Zones
Gaza Government Media Office Warns of Escalating Famine Amid Aid Blockade and International Apathy. Only 73 Aid Trucks Entered Gaza as Air-Dropped Supplies Fall in Combat Zones
Palestine, PUREWILAYAH.COM - The Government Media Office in Gaza revealed on Sunday evening that only 73 humanitarian aid trucks managed to enter the Gaza Strip today.
In a grim statement, the office warned that the famine engulfing Gaza is becoming increasingly severe, with catastrophic consequences for the civilian population.
The statement noted that the aid air-drops have failed, with supplies falling in active combat zones deemed "red areas" by the Israeli occupation, making them inaccessible and “void of any humanitarian value.”
133 Dead from Hunger, Including 87 Children
According to the media office, 2.4 million people in Gaza — including 1.1 million children — are now suffering from an expanding and intensifying famine. The death toll has reached 133 victims, among them 87 children, due to starvation amid “deafening Arab and international silence.”

The statement explained that the few trucks that entered both northern and southern Gaza were largely looted, under the watchful eyes of Israeli occupation forces and their drones.
It accused Israel of deliberately engineering chaos and starvation, preventing the trucks from reaching designated distribution centers in a systematic effort to collapse humanitarian response mechanisms.
Air-Drops Deemed Ineffective and Dangerous
Three recent air-drop operations were described as futile, with their combined assistance amounting to the equivalent of just two trucks' worth of aid. These drops fell in high-risk combat areas inaccessible to civilians, effectively neutralizing their humanitarian impact.
The Government Media Office labeled the current situation as a "tragic farce", accusing the international community of collusion through misleading promises and deceptive narratives, particularly from major powers such as the United States and its president.
Call for Immediate Action and Accountability
The office reiterated that the only viable solution lies in immediately opening Gaza’s crossings without preconditions, lifting the blockade, and allowing unrestricted entry of food and infant formula before it is too late.
It held Israel and its partners fully responsible for the deteriorating humanitarian crisis and called upon the international community, especially Arab and Islamic countries, to act urgently.
In its concluding remarks, the statement urged media outlets to cease the dissemination of false information and highlighted that the famine is not subsiding but worsening each day, warning of a monstrous conspiracy against Gaza’s civilian population. (PW)
