North Korea | PUREWILAYAH.COM - North Korean media reported that Pyongyang on Tuesday conducted experimental tests of an upgraded large-caliber multiple rocket launcher system incorporating new technology.
Voice of Korea radio said Tuesday evening that North Korea’s General Missile Bureau carried out a live-fire test involving four rockets, which struck a maritime target with force at a distance of approximately 360 kilometers.
The Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported that North Korean leader Kim Jong Un personally oversaw the successful test of the multi-caliber rocket launch system on Tuesday.
According to the agency, Kim stated that the drill demonstrated significant improvements in the weapon’s offensive power, maneuverability, and accuracy.
“This test will become a source of severe psychological pressure and a serious threat to the forces that attempt to provoke a military confrontation with us,” Kim was quoted as saying. (PW)
