“No Ship Moves Without Tehran’s Permission”: Iranian Military Mocks US Desperation, Asserts Total Control Over Strait of Hormuz
Washington’s claims of 'normal traffic' are exposed as pure propaganda as the Armed Forces tighten their chokehold on the global energy supply.
In a crushing blow to Washington’s maritime propaganda, the Iranian Armed Forces have unequivocally declared that not a single vessel can safely transit the Strait of Hormuz without explicit authorisation and supervision from the Islamic Republic, completely dismissing US claims of “normal” maritime traffic in the strategic waterway.
Lieutenant-Colonel Ebrahim Zolfaqari, spokesperson for Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, issued a blistering statement on Thursday, tearing apart the Pentagon’s attempts to project a false sense of security in the Persian Gulf. He branded US claims of unimpeded shipping as “false and baseless,” exposing them as a transparent sign of the American military’s deep desperation and helplessness in the face of Iran’s overwhelming deterrence.
“The Strait of Hormuz remains, as in the past, under the full management and control of the Islamic Republic of Iran,” Zolfaqari stated, making it crystal clear to global shipping conglomerates and the US Navy alike that no commercial vessel or oil tanker can navigate the vital chokepoint without Tehran’s explicit say-so.
The Chokehold on the US War Economy
Since the early days of the US-Israeli aggression against Iran in March, Tehran has effectively transformed the Strait of Hormuz—through which a fifth of the world’s oil normally flows—into a heavily regulated zone of Iranian sovereignty. The US, bleeding its economy dry to fund its genocidal proxies and failing to break the Iranian blockade, has resorted to psychological warfare, desperately trying to convince global markets that its naval assets can still dictate terms in the Gulf.
Zolfaqari reminded Washington that the US military has repeatedly tasted the “power and steadfastness” of the Iranian people and its armed forces. He slammed the White House for continuously seeking to manufacture instability and insecurity in the region, warning that hollow, unsupported US threats will only result in greater humiliation for an empire in decline.
A Message to the Zionist Entity and Its Patrons
The Khatam al-Anbiya spokesperson further confirmed that Iran’s armed forces are maintaining a hawk-eyed, 24/7 surveillance on all US and Zionist activities in the region. Any attempt by the occupying entity or its American patrons to test Iran’s red lines will be met with a response “more forcefully and severely than before,” Zolfaqari warned.
Crucially, the statement reaffirmed that Iran’s military will continue to act in uncompromising defense of the country’s national sovereignty and strategic interests under the direct command of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Sayyed Mojtaba Khamenei.
For Washington and Tel Aviv, the message from Tehran is as clear as it is devastating: the era of US naval hegemony in the Persian Gulf is over. The Strait of Hormuz belongs to Iran, and the global economy will operate on Tehran’s terms, or it will not operate at all.
