New Yemeni Chief of General Staff Vows to Uphold the Path of Struggle
Youssef al-Madani Offers Condolences and Commits to Continuing Martyr al-Ghamari’s Legacy
Yemen, PUREWILAYAH.COM - Major General Youssef al-Madani, the newly appointed Chief of the General Staff of the Yemeni Armed Forces, has extended his deepest condolences over the martyrdom of General Mohammed Abdul Karim al-Ghamari, describing him as one of Yemen’s greatest and most devoted commanders.
In a message of mourning addressed to the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, President of the Supreme Political Council Mahdi al-Mashat, the Ministry of Defense, and the Yemeni people, al-Madani praised the late commander’s lifelong dedication to defending the nation, religion, and the Ummah.
He emphasized that General al-Ghamari’s sacrifices culminated in martyrdom during what he called “the most sacred battle of the Ummah against the Zionist enemy.” Al-Madani declared that the Yemeni Armed Forces have lost a towering figure whose life was entirely devoted to the cause of resistance.
A Promise to Uphold the Path of Struggle
Al-Madani affirmed his commitment to carrying forward the jihadi and practical path established by the martyred Chief of Staff — a path he sealed with his pure blood.
He pledged, alongside fellow commanders and fighters in the field, unwavering loyalty to al-Ghamari and to all martyrs.
He further asserted that such sacrifices will only reinforce the strength and determination of the armed forces, deepening their resolve to continue the path of jihad and faith.
He vowed that Yemen’s military institution will remain steadfast in its humanitarian and principled stance, particularly in its support for Gaza, “until victory is achieved, with God’s help.” (PW)
