New Massacre! Israel Kills and Wounds Over 116 Starving Palestinians at Aid Center
Over 100 Injured as Occupation Targets Starving Civilians Waiting for Aid in Central Gaza; Total Death Toll at Food Distribution Sites Approaches 400 Since May 27
Palestine, PUREWILAYAH.COM - In the early hours of Thursday morning, Israeli occupation forces carried out yet another massacre in the Gaza Strip, targeting starving Palestinian civilians gathered for humanitarian aid near the Nitsarim checkpoint in central Gaza.
According to Palestinian sources, Israeli drones and military vehicles opened fire on civilians assembled near the Gaza Bridge and Salah al-Din Street, a central artery in the besieged enclave. These civilians had gathered in desperation to receive food and essential supplies.
Confirmed Casualties: 16 Martyred, Over 100 Injured
Medical sources on the ground confirmed that 16 Palestinians were martyred and more than 100 others were wounded in the attack near Nitsarim.
The victims were among hundreds of starving people awaiting aid in what has become a routine target zone for Israeli aggression.
The occupation continues to commit daily massacres across the Strip, with a focus on aid collection points, striking civilians who have no access to food or shelter. This strategy is being carried out against the backdrop of a collapsed healthcare system and severe shortages of medical supplies, further exacerbating the humanitarian catastrophe and raising the death toll from ongoing airstrikes.

Second Attack at Same Location in Two Days
This attack follows another deadly assault just one day earlier at the same aid distribution location near the Nitsarim axis. At dawn on Wednesday, the Israeli army killed 11 Palestinian civilians and injured over 70 others at the same site.
These repeated assaults have made it clear that food distribution centers have become intentional targets in Israel’s war on Gaza.
Systematic Targeting of Food Distribution Points
Since May 27, Palestinian civilians have been repeatedly fired upon while attempting to collect food at aid distribution points. These actions are widely believed to be part of a joint American-Israeli plan, which has been condemned by the United Nations and numerous international organizations for:
Militarizing humanitarian aid,
Humiliating and degrading civilians,
Forcibly displacing them from their homes.
According to updated medical reports, the total number of Palestinians martyred while attempting to receive food at distribution points has now risen to approximately 400 since May 27. More than 3,000 others have been injured, a grim indicator of the scale and severity of this ongoing campaign. (PW)
