Netanyahu Dubbed “Hitler of the 21st Century,” Iran’s Parliament Speaker Warns of Expansionist Threat
Mohammad‑Baqer Qalibaf urges Arab nations to unite as Gaza remains the “last bulwark” against Israeli ambitions
Tehran, PUREWILAYAH.COM — Iran’s Parliament Speaker, Mohammad-Baqer Qalibaf, issued a stark warning to Arab countries across West Asia, accusing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of aspiring to expand Israeli control over neighbouring states.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Qalibaf condemned Netanyahu as “this Hitler of the 21st century” and cautioned that “the time to restrain the rabid Zionist dog is running out,” responding to what he characterised as revelations of Israel’s “Greater Israel” vision.
Qalibaf's remarks came after Netanyahu’s recent interview on i24News, during which the Israeli premier is said to have expressed support for a “Greater Israel” plan that would extend occupation over Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, and Syria.
In a passionate appeal, Qalibaf addressed Muslim leaders directly:
“Gaza is the last bulwark. Unite and hasten to aid Palestine before it turns on other lands.”
He emphasised the strategic significance of the Gaza Strip, calling it the final barrier to further Israeli territorial expansion.
As the region grapples with ongoing conflict and heightened tensions, Qalibaf’s remarks underscore Iran’s broader message: a call for solidarity among Muslim nations against what he frames as existential aggression stemming from Israel. (PW)
