Mousavi: Iran Responded with Full Force to US-Israeli Aggression
Iran’s Chief of Staff praises Operation True Promise III, condemns United States complicity, and thanks Qatar for its principled stance and support for Palestine
Iran, PUREWILAYAH.COM - The Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi, emphasized the powerful and comprehensive response delivered by the Iranian Armed Forces following acts of aggression initiated by the Israeli regime and the United States.
In a telephone conversation on Tuesday with the Minister of Defense of the State of Qatar, Khalid bin Mohammad Al Attiyah, Major General Mousavi stated that Iran’s Armed Forces confronted the aggression with the full scope of their capabilities and military strength.
He affirmed that, “Iran’s Armed Forces stood up to bullying using all of their capabilities, and responded to the aggressors with the entirety of their might.”
The military response began with extensive defensive maneuvers and rapidly escalated into decisive counteroffensives. These included precision ballistic missile strikes and armed drone attacks targeting critical Israeli infrastructure deep inside the occupied Palestinian territories, namely Tel Aviv, Haifa, and Be’er Sheva.
The retaliatory campaign, known as Operation True Promise III, involved hundreds of advanced missiles—many of them multi-warhead and supersonic—marking a historic moment in Iran’s military doctrine.
Strike on al-Udeid Airbase and Exposure of American Involvement
Major General Mousavi also addressed the ballistic missile strike carried out by Iranian forces on al-Udeid Airbase in Qatar, the most significant United States military installation in the region.
This operation was in direct response to United States participation in attacks on Iranian nuclear sites during the latter stages of the Israeli war on Iran.
The commander underscored the extent of American complicity, stating that the United States provided the Israeli regime with extensive military and intelligence support throughout the conflict.
Despite this backing, the Zionist regime was ultimately compelled to accept a ceasefire after twelve days, overwhelmed by the intensity and accuracy of Iran’s retaliatory strikes.
Major General Mousavi stressed that the events revealed the truth of the Islamic Republic’s position to the world and demonstrated that neither the United States nor the Israeli regime holds genuine respect for international laws or principles.
Qatar's Principled Position and Regional Solidarity with Iran
During the conversation, Major General Mousavi expressed sincere appreciation for the Qatari government’s firm rejection of Israeli aggression and for its refusal to permit its airspace to be used in support of military actions against the Islamic Republic.
He described Qatar as a “friendly state” and commended its valuable position throughout the period of conflict. He also praised Doha’s consistent support for the Palestinian people’s legitimate struggle against occupation and oppression.
For his part, Qatari Defense Minister Khalid bin Mohammad Al Attiyah reaffirmed that Qatar condemned the Israeli regime’s aggression from the very beginning and maintained its refusal to participate in or enable the hostilities.
He also offered condolences to Major General Mousavi over the martyrdom of his predecessor, Major General Mohammad Hossein Baqeri, who was killed during the course of the Israeli attacks. The exchange between the two officials underscored the growing solidarity among nations in the region who reject Zionist aggression and stand in defense of regional sovereignty and justice. (PW)
