Millions Rally Across Yemen in Defiance, Steadfastness for Gaza and Resistance
Unprecedented Nationwide Mobilization. Over 1,500 marches from north to south reaffirm Yemen’s unwavering solidarity with Palestine amid Israeli bombardment.
Yemen, PUREWILAYAH.COM - Yemen witnessed an extraordinary wave of mobilization on Friday, September 26, 2025 (4 Rabiʿ al-Thani 1447 AH), as more than 1,500 marches and rallies swept across its provinces.
From coastal cities to mountain villages, Yemenis poured into the streets to renew their covenant with God and pledge loyalty to the oppressed in Palestine.
Despite searing heat in some regions and heavy rain in others, massive crowds turned out in what organizers described as a “human flood,” carrying Yemeni and Palestinian flags, portraits of fallen resistance leaders, and the slogan: “With Gaza… Yemen of Faith in Jihad, Steadfastness, and Mobilization.”
Sana’a: A Million-Strong Demonstration
In the capital Sana’a, the iconic Al-Sabeen Square transformed into a sea of defiance, with a million-strong gathering braving threats of Israeli airstrikes. Chanting “Hayhat minna al-dhilla” (“Far from us is disgrace”), demonstrators declared that Yemen would not be intimidated.
Surrounding districts added more than 300 rallies, despite rugged terrain and long distances, expanding the scope of the mobilization to unprecedented levels.
Expanding Fronts in Key Provinces
Hajjah: Number of squares rose to 321, echoing chants of “All Yemeni squares… Gaza squares.”
Taiz: Increased from 87 to 94 squares, with symbolic warnings from Bab al-Mandab, asserting the Red Sea as a frontline of sovereignty.
Al-Bayda and Al-Dhalea: Both recorded new escalations, with 37 rallies in Al-Bayda and 17 in Al-Dhalea, signaling a unified Yemeni north and south.
Raymah and Al-Mahwit: Added multiple new sites, with mountains resounding with cries of loyalty to Gaza.
Saada and Amran: Revolutionary heartlands expanded to 41 and 124 squares respectively.
Al-Jawf: Increased to 52 sites, blending its fertile lands with the spirit of resistance.
Other Provinces (Hudaydah, Ibb, Marib, Dhamar, Lahj) maintained high turnout, preparing to open additional squares in the coming weeks.
Message of Faith and Defiance
The rallies carried a strong spiritual dimension, with slogans declaring:
“No matter the bombings, we will not yield—our challenge will escalate.”
“By God, we shall never be defeated… With Gaza, the greater victory is to come.”
Chants honoring Martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and Sayyed Hashem Safieddine reverberated across squares, affirming Yemen’s bond with the broader Axis of Resistance.
Final Statement
At the conclusion, participants issued a communal statement reaffirming:
Commitment to jihad, steadfastness, and September 21 Revolution values, rejecting American and Israeli domination.
Condemnation of Arab and Islamic governments whose words at the UN General Assembly contradicted their continued military support for Israel.
Solidarity with Palestine and Resistance leaders, pledging to continue the struggle until the fall of the “temporary Zionist entity.”
The statement also prayed for victory for Gaza’s fighters, mercy for martyrs, healing for the wounded, and liberation for prisoners. (PW)
