Lebanon Included in Truce, Axis Will Not Stand Idle Against Israeli Push in South
Sayyed al-Houthi warns Israeli escalation in southern Lebanon is a blatant ceasefire violation, stressing the Axis of Resistance cannot remain passive in the face of invasion pressure
Yemen, PUREWILAYAH.COM — Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi declared that Lebanon is unequivocally included in the ongoing truce agreement, warning that the current Israeli military escalation in southern Lebanon constitutes a direct and dangerous violation of the ceasefire.
In a speech addressing the latest regional developments, he stressed that the Israeli aggression targets a central front within the Axis of Resistance and undermines the strategic equation of unity among resistance fronts.
Lebanon Integral to Truce, Israeli Escalation a Direct Violation
Sayyed al-Houthi emphasized that Lebanon is not a separate or secondary arena but a core component of the ceasefire arrangement.
He stated: “Lebanon is definitively and directly included in the ongoing truce agreement. A major aggression and a blatant violation of the ceasefire against a fundamental and primary front within the Axis of jihad and resistance.”
Highlighting field developments, Sayyed al-Houthi pointed to coordinated US–Israeli actions, including the deployment of multiple military divisions to pressure southern Lebanon.
“The simultaneous American and Israeli movement, embodied on the ground by pushing the enemy with five military divisions to pressure southern Lebanon, is a clear breach of commitments and a lack of respect for the truce.”
He warned that this escalation not only violates the agreement but also threatens to dismantle the broader strategic balance established during the confrontation.
Axis Will Not Remain Passive Against Israeli Pressure
Sayyed al-Houthi made clear that the Axis of Resistance, led by the Islamic Republic of Iran and supported by multiple fronts, will not remain silent in the face of Israeli aggression.
“It is not possible for the Axis — at the level of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the rest of the supporting fronts — to stand idly by and watch this Zionist military pressure aimed at invading southern Lebanon and targeting the Islamic resistance and the Lebanese people with full criminality,” he stated.
He added emphatically: “This is something that cannot be tolerated at all.”
Zionist Aggression Aims at Control Through War and Destruction
Describing Israeli actions as reckless and savage, Sayyed al-Houthi said the occupation seeks maximum gains through destruction and domination.
“The Zionist aggression against Lebanon is reckless and brutal, through which the occupation seeks to achieve maximum gains in line with its plan based on killing, destruction, and control over Lebanon politically, economically, and in security terms, as well as occupying large areas at this stage.”
Fragile Truces, Repeated Violations, and a Long Record of Aggression
Sayyed al-Houthi criticized the US and Israel for repeatedly imposing fragile ceasefires when unable to achieve battlefield objectives, only to violate them later.
“The American and Israeli always work to impose fragile truces at certain times when they are unable to achieve their gains and field objectives, instead of moving seriously and sincerely to stop aggression and adhere to agreements.”
He pointed to Gaza and Lebanon as clear examples of repeated violations, including failure to meet humanitarian obligations and continued military aggression.
He detailed a pattern of sustained Israeli violations in Lebanon, including occupation of southern areas, daily killings, abductions, destruction of homes and farmland, and airspace violations.
He stated that these actions continued for months despite existing agreements and guarantees, demonstrating a consistent policy of aggression.
Resistance Is the Only Path, Lebanon Front Central to Palestine
Recalling historical precedents, Sayyed al-Houthi stressed that Israel’s past withdrawal from Lebanon was not achieved through diplomacy.
“The expulsion of the occupier and forcing it to withdraw was not achieved through negotiations, bargains, or UN resolutions — it was forced through weapons, jihad, and sacrifices.”
He added:
“The problem in Lebanon is not Hezbollah or its weapons — the problem lies with the Zionist Jews and their weapons supplied by America and the West.”
Sayyed al-Houthi emphasized that the Lebanese front remains the most impactful support front for Palestine, and that its importance for Palestine, for Gaza, and for the Palestinian cause is well known.
He stressed that this front must be supported by the entire الأمة and that silence in the face of Israeli crimes is unacceptable.
He criticized the weak stance of many Arab governments, noting that some international actors have taken clearer positions than official Arab responses.
He concluded with a firm warning:
“It is absolutely impossible for the ceasefire to continue at the level of the Axis and the region as a whole while aggression continues against Lebanon… This cannot be tolerated.” (PW)
