Iran, PUREWILAYAH.COM — The first night of the Fatimiyah mourning ceremonies—marking the martyrdom anniversary of Lady Fatimah al-Zahra (sa)—was held on Friday at the Imam Khomeini Hussainiyah with the presence of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution and thousands of attendees from across Iranian society.
The ceremony brought together people from all walks of life, filling the Hussainiyah as reciters and scholars commemorated the life, sacrifice, and legacy of Lady Fatimah (sa), the daughter of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), whose martyrdom remains a central symbol of resistance against oppression.
Scholar Outlines Enemy Strategy Against Islamic Societies
Speaking at the gathering, Hujjat al-Islam Rahim Sharafi drew from Qur’anic teachings to outline the ongoing strategies employed by hostile powers to weaken Islamic societies.
He identified four primary tactics used by the enemies of the Muslim world:
Manufacturing division and discord
Infiltration and subversion
Spreading doubt and ideological confusion
Economic pressure and sanctions
Sharafi emphasized that these methods are systematically deployed to break the steadfastness of Islamic nations and undermine their collective resistance. He called for heightened vigilance and unity in confronting such hostile agendas.

Elegy and Lamentation for Lady Fatimah (sa)
The ceremony also featured moving elegies by renowned reciter Saeed Hadadian, whose recitation in memory of Lady Fatimah (sa) stirred deep emotion among the participants.
As the Fatimiyah period begins, gatherings across Iran and the wider region continue to reaffirm commitment to the principles of justice, steadfastness, and resistance embodied by Lady Fatimah al-Zahra (sa).
