Larijani Warns: U.S. Troops Should Expect Capture in Any Ground Invasion of Iran
Ali Larijani warns that if U.S. forces attempt a ground invasion of Iran, they will face massive losses and thousands of American troops could end up captured.
Iran, PUREWILAYAH.COM - Ali Larijani, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, warned that if the United States attempts a ground invasion of Iran, American troops should expect to be captured.
In a statement posted on his official account on X, Larijani said that some American officials have spoken about sending several thousand troops for a possible ground invasion of Iran.
He responded that the courageous sons of Imam Khomeini and Imam Khamenei are ready, and that such an invasion would end with American officials being disgraced by thousands of killed and captured soldiers.
Larijani also stressed that the land of Iran is not a place for the devils to dance.
More Than 500 U.S. Soldiers Reported Killed
Larijani further stated that more than 500 American soldiers have already been killed in the ongoing confrontation.
He said that Donald Trump is dragging the American people into an unjust war against Iran, influenced by what he described as the political theatrics of Benjamin Netanyahu.
Larijani challenged Washington to reconsider its priorities, asking whether “America First” still holds meaning when hundreds of American soldiers have already lost their lives.
Iran Warns the Cost Will Be Much Higher
Larijani issued a further warning that the conflict is far from over and that the United States should expect an even heavier price.
He emphasized that the martyrdom of Imam Khamenei will carry a heavy cost, signaling that Iran and the Resistance Front will continue their response.
According to Larijani, if Washington escalates the war further, the consequences for American forces could be far more severe. (PW)
