Larijani Warns of False-Flag Conspiracy, Says Iran Not at War with American People
Iranian officials warn of potential false-flag operations designed to frame Iran, stressing that Tehran’s actions are defensive against U.S.–Israeli aggression.
Iran, PUREWILAYAH.COM - Ali Larijani, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, stated that Iran has no conflict with the American people while warning of a possible false-flag operation designed to accuse Tehran.
In a post on his official account on X, Larijani said he had heard that “the remnants of the Epstein team” were allegedly designing a conspiracy to create an incident similar to the September 11 attacks and then attribute it to Iran.
He emphasized that Iran fundamentally opposes such terrorist scenarios and clarified that Iran’s dispute is not with the American public.
“Iran fundamentally opposes such terrorist plans and is not at war with the American people,” Larijani wrote.
Iran Acting in Self-Defense
Larijani further stressed that Iran’s current actions are rooted in self-defense following what he described as the aggression of the United States and Israel against Iran.
According to him, Iran’s response remains firm and resolute in order to punish the aggressors.
“Today Iran is defending itself against the aggression of the United States and Israel, and in this defense it will act with strength and determination to punish the aggressors,” he said.
Foreign Ministry Warns of Possible False-Flag Operations
Meanwhile, Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei also warned that false-flag operations could occur in the coming days.
Speaking about the issue, Baghaei pointed to historical precedents, noting that the well-known “Operation Susannah” in 1954 demonstrated how such covert actions had been carried out in the past.
He explained that during that period, Israeli agents planted bombs and carried out acts of sabotage against British-owned facilities in Egypt in order to blame the Egyptian government and justify continued British military presence there amid disputes over the Suez Canal.
The operation was eventually exposed, leading to arrests and casualties among those involved.
Warning to Regional Countries
Baghaei noted that decades later, in 2003 and 2004, the Zionist regime officially acknowledged that the operation had been a coordinated and deliberate action.
He added that similar incidents have occurred repeatedly over the decades, although responsibility was often denied.
According to Baghaei, the current regional environment is tense and complex, increasing the likelihood that Israel could conduct operations intended to create division between Iran and its neighboring countries.
Referring to remarks by journalist Tucker Carlson about alleged arrests of Mossad agents in Saudi Arabia and Qatar during bombing attempts, Baghaei said that a series of incidents followed, including drone and missile strikes in Cyprus, Turkey, and Azerbaijan.
He stressed that Iran’s armed forces officially declared that those attacks were not carried out by Iran.
While some suggested the possibility that drones might have deviated from their course due to electronic jamming, Baghaei said the likelihood of a false-flag operation should not be dismissed.
He added that Iran has urged neighboring countries to remain cautious and avoid premature judgments.
“Our armed forces openly and courageously announce the operations they carry out,” Baghaei said. “We had no hesitation in declaring that we targeted American military bases and logistical facilities in the region as part of our self-defense.”
However, he emphasized that in cases where Iran was not responsible, officials have clearly stated so.
“For this reason, the issue of false-flag operations is a serious one, and it is possible that we may face such scenarios again in the coming days,” he warned. (PW)
