Larijani to Attend Memorial of Hezbollah Leaders in Lebanon
Iran’s top security official to discuss bilateral ties and regional developments during official visit
Lebanon, PUREWILAYAH.COM — Ali Larijani, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, will take part in the memorial ceremony marking the anniversary of the martyrdom of Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah and Sayyid Hashem Safieddine, the former Secretary-Generals of Hezbollah Lebanon.
According to Lebanese daily Al-Akhbar, Larijani’s visit will also include high-level talks with senior Lebanese officials on bilateral relations between Tehran and Beirut, alongside consultations on pressing regional and international developments.
The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Beirut confirmed in a statement that Larijani is scheduled to arrive in Lebanon on Saturday.
The Embassy emphasized that the Iranian official will hold a series of meetings with top Lebanese leadership during his stay.
The purpose of these meetings is to review bilateral ties and exchange views on regional and global issues of mutual concern, the statement added. (PW/FBG)
