Israeli Strikes Kill Palestinians Across Gaza — Ceasefire Violations Push Death Toll Toward 72,600
Ongoing Israeli attacks continue to target civilians across Gaza, as mounting casualties expose the collapse of ceasefire commitments and deepen the humanitarian crisis.
Gaza, PUREWILAYAH.COM — Israeli occupation forces continued their deadly assaults across the Gaza Strip, killing at least three Palestinians and wounding several others in a new wave of attacks that further violate the ceasefire and intensify the humanitarian crisis.
Medical sources confirmed that three civilians were martyred and another critically wounded after an Israeli drone strike targeted an animal-drawn cart near Kuwait Roundabout, south of al-Zaytoun neighborhood, east of Gaza City.
The wounded were transferred to al-Saraya field hospital, where several cases were reported as severe. The attack also disrupted movement along Salah al-Din Street.
Civilians Targeted Across Multiple Areas
In central Gaza, Israeli reconnaissance aircraft struck a group of civilians near al-Aqsa Hospital in Deir al-Balah, injuring at least six people, some in critical condition.
In a separate incident, al-Ahli Baptist Hospital received an elderly man who was shot by Israeli forces while standing near al-Ramla School in al-Shujaiya neighborhood, east of Gaza City.
These attacks form part of a continuing pattern of strikes targeting civilian areas despite the declared ceasefire.
Death Toll Continues to Rise Under Ceasefire Violations
The Palestinian Health Ministry reported that, in a preliminary toll for the previous day, the number of martyrs since the ceasefire agreement took effect on October 11, 2025, has reached 823, with 2,308 wounded.
The ministry also confirmed that 763 bodies have been recovered during the same period.
Since the beginning of the Israeli war on Gaza on October 7, 2023, the total number of martyrs has risen to 72,599, with 172,411 wounded.
Ongoing Aggression Deepens Humanitarian Crisis
Israeli occupation forces continue to violate the ceasefire through repeated airstrikes, shootings, and sustained military presence on Palestinian land, alongside a continuing blockade that has further deteriorated living conditions across Gaza.
The ongoing attacks highlight the persistent failure to uphold ceasefire commitments, as civilians remain the primary victims of continued Israeli aggression. (PW)
