Anadolu Agency, citing Israel’s state broadcaster KAN, reported that the unnamed official described Iran’s ballistic missiles as a direct existential danger to the Zionist regime, saying Israel cannot coexist with such capabilities.
Israel’s state radio and television broadcaster reported on Sunday, quoting the unnamed official, that “Israel cannot live with Iran possessing ballistic missiles,” adding that the issue goes beyond the scope of a limited military challenge.
The official claimed that Iran possessed approximately 2,000 ballistic missiles prior to the most recent period of attacks against Israel and has since resumed the reproduction and expansion of its missile systems at a notable pace.
He further stated that Tehran has the capability to launch dozens of missiles simultaneously, a factor he said complicates any potential future confrontation scenario.
