Israeli Forces Target Aid Security Teams in Gaza, Kill at Least 10 and Wound 30
Occupation drones, tanks, and naval boats attack tribal aid escorts in northwestern Gaza, intensifying famine and chaos amid worsening humanitarian crisis
Palestine, PUREWILAYAH.COM - At least 10 Palestinians were martyred and 30 others injured—including several in critical condition—after Israeli occupation drones, ground vehicles, and naval boats targeted tribal-affiliated aid security teams in the Al-Sudaniya area, northwest of Gaza City.
Local sources reported that the attacks deliberately targeted the men responsible for securing aid convoys, contributing to the looting of humanitarian trucks and aggravating the ongoing humanitarian crisis.
Among the martyrs identified were Hussein Abu Shurkh, Jihad Al-Adgham, Mohammed Zughra, Mohammed Hassan Nimer Abu Ali, Hussein Awad Hussein Abdul-Atti, and Abdul Mahmoud Ibrahim Al-Balwa’i.
The Israeli occupation has systematically targeted tribal aid protection forces in multiple areas across the Gaza Strip in an apparent strategy to incite chaos, facilitate looting, and deepen the famine crisis.
National Tribal Council Announces New Aid Convoy Entry
The National Council of Palestinian Tribes, Clans, and Families announced on Sunday that new humanitarian aid convoys arriving from the "Zikim" area, north of the Gaza Strip, will enter the sector on Monday under the direct supervision of tribal elders, community leaders, and grassroots representatives.
This measure aims to ensure the safe delivery of aid to besieged and devastated communities across the region.
In its statement, the Council emphasized that no party—whether saboteurs or collaborators with the Israeli occupation—will be allowed to interfere with or obstruct the convoys.
It stressed that “those who tamper with the food of the hungry or exploit the suffering of our people will be dealt with harshly and without hesitation.”
The statement urged Gaza’s tribes and residents to take responsibility for their youth and maintain national discipline, stressing that chaos benefits only the occupation, especially at a time when Palestinian blood continues to be shed under ongoing massacres.
Collective Responsibility to Protect Gaza
The Council added that protecting Gaza and its people is a collective responsibility that requires unwavering social unity.
The famine engulfing the Gaza Strip has worsened significantly due to the ongoing closure of border crossings and the total blockade that has lasted for months. Humanitarian aid convoys have been repeatedly prevented from entering the territory, leading to unprecedented levels of starvation and malnutrition.
According to the Government Media Office in Gaza, the deadly famine imposed by the Israeli occupation has so far claimed the lives of 133 Palestinians, including 85 children. The office accused the occupation of conducting deliberate humanitarian pressure on 2.4 million people by continuing to close the crossings and blocking the entry of humanitarian aid and infant formula.
Data from the Palestinian Ministry of Health reveals that more than 260,000 children under the age of five are suffering from acute malnutrition and face the risk of death at any moment due to the catastrophic conditions caused by the blockade and Israel’s ongoing aggression. (PW)
