Israeli Forces Intensify West Bank Raids as Settlement Expansion Pushes Forward
New colonial construction, land seizures, and civilian assaults escalate across occupied territories as U.S. continues backing Israel’s aggression
Palestine, PUREWILAYAH.COM — Israeli occupation forces escalated their violent raids across multiple areas of the occupied West Bank on Monday, while extremist settlers — shielded by the military — expanded attacks on Palestinian civilians, seized agricultural lands, and advanced new settlement plans in al-Khalil.
The wave of incursions, property damage, and land confiscation comes amid Washington’s continued political and military support for Tel Aviv’s aggression, emboldening Israel’s accelerating colonial expansion and crackdown on the Palestinian population.
Widespread Raids Across West Bank Cities
Occupation forces stormed towns and cities across the West Bank, deploying armored vehicles, raiding homes, and firing tear gas and stun grenades in civilian areas.
Tubas: IOF forces entered from the north, sweeping residential neighborhoods.
Qalqilya Governorate: Raids expanded into northern Azzun, with sound bombs detonated near homes.
Kafr Laqif, Amatin, Hajja: Patrols and military checkpoints disrupted civilian movement.
Ramallah: IOF set up new checkpoints at town entrances.
Shuafat Camp, al-Quds: Tear gas fired toward homes in a renewed act of collective punishment.
Settler Violence Escalates Under Military Protection
In the evening, extremist settlers blocked the western entrance to Tuquu, southeast of Beit Lahm, smashing Palestinian vehicles and damaging property.
This continues a well-documented pattern in which armed settlers carry out attacks with full military support, serving as an extension of Israeli state violence against Palestinians.
Municipal authorities in al-Khalil revealed a new Israeli settlement plan:
construction of two buildings on municipally owned land belonging to the city’s central vegetable market in the Old Market district.
The move forms part of a systematic Israeli campaign to forcibly Judaize al-Khalil and erase Palestinian presence in historically Palestinian commercial and residential zones.
Violations in Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa
A report from the Jerusalem Governorate for October 2025 documented:
1 Palestinian killed
40 injured
87 arrested
15 demolitions/bulldozing operations
68 settler attacks
Over 10,800 settlers storming Al-Aqsa Mosque
The figures underline Israel’s systematic policy of demographic coercion, religious aggression, and daily violations targeting Palestinians in occupied Jerusalem.
Land Seizure and Killings in Southern West Bank
Occupation forces and settlers seized agricultural lands belonging to residents of Idhna, west of al-Khalil, after plowing and preparing the area for takeover.
Mayor Jaber Tmeizi confirmed settlers, backed by the Israeli army, plowed hundreds of dunams. When Palestinians attempted to defend their land, IOF forces fired tear gas and sound grenades, ensuring settlers could seize the area without resistance.
Separately, Israeli authorities issued orders to uproot trees in Ras Karkar and Kafr Ni’ma near Ramallah, targeting approximately 15 dunams for military purposes — another step in Israel’s ongoing ethnic cleansing and agricultural destruction campaign.
A Sustained Policy of Dispossession
The latest escalation reinforces Israel’s long-standing strategy:
military raids, settler terrorism, land confiscation, and expansion of illegal settlements — all under U.S. protection and international impunity.
As Palestinians face expulsion, targeted killings, and systematic land theft, Washington continues to arm and shield Israel diplomatically, making the United States a full partner in the ongoing crimes against the Palestinian people. (PW)
