Israeli Forces and Settlers Escalate Systematic Attacks Across the West Bank

Mass Arrests, Raids on Cities and Villages, and Settler Violence Leave Palestinians Dead, Injured, and Dispossessed

Palestine, PUREWILAYAH.COM — Israeli occupation forces, backed by armed settlers, carried out intensive and coordinated assaults across large parts of the occupied West Bank on Friday, storming towns, refugee camps, and villages, abducting Palestinian civilians, and escalating systematic violence against people, homes, and livelihoods.

Palestinian sources reported that Israeli troops launched simultaneous raids across multiple areas, continuing a pattern of daily aggression aimed at tightening control over the West Bank through repression, mass arrests, and settler terror.

Raids and Arrests Across Northern West Bank

Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Tell, southwest of Nablus, arresting a young Palestinian man.

Troops also stormed the Balata refugee camp, east of Nablus, breaking into homes and a mosque, while additional incursions were reported in the Jabal Abu Dhahir area of Jenin, where occupation forces intensified military pressure in residential neighborhoods.

In northern West Bank, Israeli forces raided Tubas, targeting Al-Far’a refugee camp as well as the towns of Aqqaba and Beita. These assaults coincided with settler attacks on the Qamas area of Beita, highlighting the coordinated role of settlers in Israel’s violence.

Southern West Bank Targeted With Live Fire and Tear Gas

In the south, Israeli troops stormed the town of Idhna, west of Al-Khalil (Hebron), firing live ammunition, tear gas, and flares at residents.

Additional raids were reported in Dura and Sa’ir, northeast of Hebron, as occupation forces expanded their operations across the district.

Settler Violence Leaves Infant Wounded

Settler attacks escalated sharply alongside military raids.

According to the Palestinian news agency WAFA, an eight-month-old Palestinian baby girl was wounded after Israeli settlers attacked the town of Sa’ir in northeastern Hebron.

The infant sustained head and facial injuries, while settlers caused extensive damage to Palestinian homes and property. The attack took place early Thursday morning, with details emerging later.

Settlers Raid Ramallah Villages, Steal Livestock

The Palestinian news agency Shehab News Agency reported that Israeli settlers stormed the town of Deir Dibwan, north of Ramallah.

Settlers assaulted Palestinian residents, vandalized homes and property, and stole 150 sheep, further devastating local livelihoods and exposing the organized criminal nature of settler violence under Israeli protection.

Systematic Destruction of Palestinian Agriculture

The Palestinian Ministry of Agriculture announced that Israeli forces and settlers have uprooted and destroyed more than 8,000 trees in just one week, the majority of them olive trees, across different areas of the West Bank.

The ministry estimated material losses at around $7 million, describing the destruction as part of an organized and deliberate policy targeting Palestinian agriculture and food security.

According to a statement cited by Arab48, the attacks intensified dangerously in recent days and were aimed at seizing land, destroying livelihoods, and forcibly displacing Palestinian communities.

Organized Policy of Land Seizure and Displacement

The ministry stressed that the attacks recorded during the third week of December are not isolated incidents but part of a systematic strategy to empty Palestinian land of its indigenous population, particularly during planting and harvest seasons.

Statistics from the Palestinian Authority’s Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission show that 621 settler attacks were recorded in the West Bank in November alone, directly targeting Palestinian civilians and their property.

Rising Death Toll Since Gaza War

Since the launch of Israel’s war on the Gaza Strip, Israeli occupation forces and settlers have killed more than 1,103 Palestinians in the West Bank and Al-Quds, wounded around 11,000, and abducted more than 21,000 people.

The ongoing assaults confirm that the West Bank has become a parallel battlefield, where Israel continues to advance its project of annexation, ethnic cleansing, and settlement expansion under full military protection. (PW)
