Israeli Aerial Activity Intensifies Over Gaza
Escalating drone and warplane movement raises fears of renewed Israeli attacks as Gaza civilians face ongoing genocide backed by the US and Europe.
Palestine, PUREWILAYAH.COM — Gaza’s Resistance Security announced Monday evening that it has detected a significant and synchronized escalation in hostile aerial activity across the besieged Strip, marked by heavy movements of Israeli reconnaissance drones of various types.
According to the statement, the occupation’s drone presence now spans all axes of Gaza, with a “dangerous concentration” reported over western Gaza City and the al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis, accompanied by Israeli warplanes circling overhead.
Resistance Issues Urgent Safety Guidance to Civilians
In response to the surge in aerial surveillance, Resistance Security urged residents and field groups to adhere to strict precautionary measures.
These include:
Avoiding the use of electronic devices
Refraining from moving in groups
Switching off unnecessary lights
Applying camouflage techniques
Preventing exposure of sensitive equipment to aerial monitoring
The advisory also emphasized maximum caution around open areas and field-work sites to safeguard civilians and ground personnel amid the intensified hostile presence.
Monitoring and Readiness Amid Israel’s Continued Assault
Resistance Security affirmed that these directives come as part of ongoing, detailed monitoring by specialized units tasked with tracking and analyzing enemy aerial movements. The goal is to elevate readiness and reduce vulnerabilities as Israeli forces continue their aggression.
The heightened aerial activity unfolds in the broader context of Israel’s ongoing, US- and EU-backed war on Gaza, launched on October 7, 2023. During this genocidal campaign, occupation forces have carried out mass killing, starvation, destruction, displacement, and arrests—defying international appeals and violating binding International Court of Justice orders.
Massive Casualties, Famine, and Near-Total Destruction
The Israeli assault has left more than 241,000 Palestinians killed or wounded, the vast majority women and children. Over 11,000 people remain missing, hundreds of thousands have been displaced, and a deliberately engineered famine has claimed many civilian lives.
Entire cities and neighborhoods across Gaza have been erased under Israeli bombardment, creating one of the most devastating humanitarian catastrophes of the modern era. (PW)
