Israel, Saudi Arabia Begin U.S.-Brokered Normalization Talks
The United States pushes its allies toward normalization as part of a wider bid to militarize the region, secure Israel’s dominance, and tighten Riyadh’s dependence on Washington.
West Asia, PUREWILAYAH.COM — The United States is mediating direct normalization talks between Israel and Saudi Arabia, aiming to announce the process during Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s visit to Washington in the coming weeks.
According to Israel Hayom, which cited American, Arab, and Israeli sources, the talks will reportedly include Jared Kushner, Israeli minister Ron Dermer, and Saudi Ambassador Reema bint Bandar Al Saud, alongside close advisers to the Saudi crown prince — reflecting Washington’s direct orchestration of the new alliance.
From Prewar Negotiations to Renewed Momentum
Before the Gaza war, Saudi Arabia had reportedly been close to signing a normalization agreement with Israel, but shifted its position after the escalation, issuing harsh criticism of Israeli actions and conditioning any deal on the Palestinian issue.
According to Israel Hayom, recent developments have revived momentum after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu expressed support for Trump’s regional peace initiative, which includes a clause outlining “a path toward a Palestinian state.”
A senior American official quoted by the paper said, “In the coming year, we’ll see genuine rapprochement between Israel and Saudi Arabia... It’s not a gamble; it’s geopolitics and economic interests.”
The same official added that a breakthrough is expected within weeks, claiming the strategic interests of Saudi Arabia, Israel, and the U.S. are now aligned, despite lingering disputes.
Militarization Under U.S.–Israeli Supervision
The crown prince’s visit is also expected to finalize a defense pact and advance the sale of F-35 stealth fighter jets — a privilege previously reserved for Israel.
The deal, presented as a “security guarantee,” serves primarily to expand U.S. militarization in the region and preserve Israel’s military supremacy.
Riyadh’s cooperation with Tel Aviv is already expanding under the CENTCOM command structure, with joint intelligence and missile-defense coordination framed as “deterrence” against Iran.
During Israel’s June war with Iran, Saudi helicopters reportedly intercepted Iranian drones — a move that exposed Riyadh’s covert role in protecting the Zionist entity.
From Arab Consensus to Western Dependency
While U.S. officials celebrate the potential normalization, regional observers note that Riyadh’s alignment with Tel Aviv represents a clear betrayal of Arab and Islamic causes, reducing Saudi Arabia to a tool of Washington’s regional hegemony.
