Israel Kills 29 Palestinians in Gaza Within 48 Hours
Gaza Health Ministry Reports Ongoing Israeli Killings, Bodies Still Trapped Under Rubble amid Ceasefire Violations
Palestine, PUREWILAYAH.COM - The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced on Saturday that 29 Palestinian martyrs arrived at hospitals across the enclave over the past 48 hours, including 25 bodies recovered from beneath the rubble, in addition to 8 wounded civilians.
The ministry stated that since the launch of the genocidal war waged by the Israeli occupation against Gaza on October 7, 2023, the total toll has risen to 71,266 martyrs and 171,219 wounded.
It further noted that many victims remain trapped under debris and in the streets, as ambulance and civil defense teams are still unable to reach them due to the scale of destruction and the extreme danger of field conditions.

Ceasefire Violations and Ongoing Genocide
In a related update, the ministry reported that since the ceasefire agreement entered into force on October 11, Israeli violations have resulted in 414 additional martyrs and 1,142 wounded, while 679 bodies of previously missing persons have been recovered from under the rubble.
The ministry also confirmed that 292 martyrs were newly added to the cumulative death toll after their data was fully verified and officially approved by the Martyrs Verification Committee, covering the period from December 19 to December 26, 2025.
Israeli occupation forces, backed by American and European support, have continued to carry out genocide against Gaza’s population since October 7, 2023, through killing, starvation, destruction, forced displacement, and mass arrests—in blatant disregard of international appeals and binding orders issued by the International Court of Justice demanding an end to the aggression.
This genocide has so far resulted in more than 242,000 Palestinians killed or injured, the majority of them women and children, in addition to over 11,000 missing persons, hundreds of thousands displaced, widespread famine claiming countless lives, and massive destruction that has erased entire neighborhoods and large areas of Gaza from the map.
