Israel Continues Ceasefire Violations: Three Martyrs in Eastern Gaza
Israeli gunfire, airstrikes, and artillery bombardment escalate amid ongoing breaches of ceasefire agreement
Palestina, PUREWILAYAH.COM — Three Palestinians, including a child and a woman, were killed on Saturday by gunfire from Israeli occupation forces, as Israel continued its systematic violations of the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip. The attacks were accompanied by multiple airstrikes, artillery shelling, and live fire targeting eastern areas of Gaza.
Civilians Killed by Israeli Gunfire
Medical sources confirmed the martyrdom of Sanioura Al-Sheish (45), who was shot dead by Israeli forces in the town of Beit Lahia, in the northern Gaza Strip.
Earlier, another medical source reported the killing of Haroun Nimer Asaad Bahar (27), who was shot by Israeli occupation forces near a parking area in the Shujaiya neighborhood, east of Gaza City.
Later in the day, Fatima Nimer Ma’rouf (11) was also martyred after being shot by Israeli forces in Beit Lahia, northwest of the Gaza Strip.
Injuries Near Hospitals and Displacement Areas
In a separate development, a Palestinian civilian was shot in the abdomen by Israeli forces near Nasser Hospital, west of Khan Younis, before two additional injuries were reported in the hospital courtyard.
Meanwhile, 17 Palestinians were wounded after Israeli forces opened fire on displaced civilians in the Mawasi area of Rafah, in southern Gaza.
Airstrikes and Artillery Target Multiple Areas
Local sources reported that Israeli warplanes carried out three airstrikes east of Khan Younis, while Israeli helicopters and tanks opened fire on eastern parts of the city.
Israeli fighter jets also launched an airstrike east of Deir al-Balah, in central Gaza, and another strike targeted eastern Gaza City.
In addition, Israeli naval gunboats opened heavy fire into the sea off the coast of Rafah, while witnesses reported an Israeli airstrike on the city alongside intensified gunfire from Israeli military vehicles north of Rafah.
Drone Attack on Displacement Tent
On Friday night, a medical source at Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City said that four Palestinians, including a woman and two children, sustained critical injuries after an Israeli drone dropped a bomb on a displacement tent in the Al-Atatra area of Beit Lahia, outside zones of Israeli military deployment. The attack was followed by Israeli artillery shelling of the same area.
Systematic Violations of Ceasefire Agreement
These attacks are part of Israel’s continued violations of the ceasefire agreement that came into force on 10 October, according to Palestinian health authorities.
Since the agreement took effect, more than 424 Palestinians have been killed and nearly 1,000 others wounded as a result of Israeli assaults, the Ministry of Health reported.
The ongoing Israeli aggression underscores a pattern of systematic ceasefire violations, targeting civilians, displaced populations, and residential areas across the Gaza Strip. (PW)
