Islamic Resistance Continues Successful Operations Against Israeli Troops and Military Vehicles
The Islamic Resistance carried out a series of attacks against Israeli occupation troops and military vehicles in southern Lebanon and northern occupied Palestine, scoring multiple direct hits.
Lebanon, PUREWILAYAH.COM — The Islamic Resistance announced a series of successful operations targeting Israeli occupation troops and military vehicles across southern Lebanon and northern occupied Palestine, as confrontations continued amid ongoing Israeli violations of the ceasefire and attacks on Lebanese territory.
In several statements issued on Wednesday, the Resistance said its fighters launched rocket, artillery, and drone attacks against Israeli forces and military assets, describing the operations as a response to continued Israeli aggression against villages in southern Lebanon that has resulted in civilian martyrs and injuries.
Rocket Attacks Target Israeli Troop Concentrations
According to the statements, Resistance fighters targeted a gathering of Israeli soldiers in the vicinity of Al-Bayyadah in southern Lebanon with a rocket barrage at 03:30 local time on Wednesday.
Later the same day, another rocket barrage struck a concentration of Israeli troops near Birkat Al-Marj in northern occupied Palestine.
The Resistance also reported an artillery strike against a gathering of Israeli soldiers at Jall Al-Hammar in the town of Odaisseh at 12:50 on Wednesday.
The attacks form part of an ongoing campaign aimed at preventing Israeli occupation forces from consolidating positions or advancing in areas along the border.
Ababil Drones Strike Israeli Vehicles
The Resistance also announced several successful drone operations using Ababil attack drones against Israeli military vehicles.
According to the statements, an Israeli HEMTT logistics vehicle was struck on the southeastern outskirts of Yahmar Al-Shaqif on Tuesday afternoon, with the Resistance reporting a confirmed direct hit.
Several hours later, an Israeli Namer armored vehicle was targeted in the same area by another Ababil attack drone, also resulting in a confirmed hit.
The operations continued late into the night when Resistance fighters targeted an Israeli Merkava tank on the eastern outskirts of Zawtar Al-Sharqiyah, once again reporting a direct strike.
Israeli Troops Also Targeted by Drones
In addition to attacking military vehicles, the Resistance said its fighters targeted a gathering of Israeli soldiers on the eastern outskirts of Zawtar Al-Sharqiyah using an Ababil attack drone.
The operation, carried out shortly before midnight on Tuesday, reportedly achieved a direct hit on the targeted force.
The latest operations come as the Islamic Resistance continues to respond to Israeli attacks on southern Lebanon and repeated violations of the ceasefire agreement.
In its statements, the Resistance reiterated that the operations were conducted in defense of Lebanon and its people and in response to ongoing Israeli aggression against Lebanese towns and villages.
The announcements indicate that Resistance forces remain active across multiple sectors of the front, employing a combination of rockets, artillery, and attack drones against occupation troops and military equipment. (PW)
