Iran, PUREWILAYAH.COM - The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has pledged full allegiance to Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei, declaring readiness to obey the new Leader of the Islamic Revolution and defend the legacy of the Revolution.
According to a statement released by the IRGC following the decision of the Assembly of Experts, the Guards reaffirmed their commitment to the principle of Wilayat al-Faqih and to safeguarding the values and achievements of the Islamic Republic.
The statement emphasized that the IRGC stands ready to carry out the directives of the new Leader and continue defending the legacy of Imam Khomeini and Imam Khamenei.
Congratulations on the Election of the New Leader
Opening its statement with a verse from the Holy Qur’an calling believers to obey Allah, the Messenger, and those entrusted with authority, the IRGC addressed the Iranian nation and congratulated the election of the new Leader.
The Guards described the selection of Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei by the Assembly of Experts as the appointment of the representative of Imam al-Mahdi (may Allah hasten his reappearance) and the Leader and Wali al-Faqih of the Islamic Revolution and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The IRGC also commemorated the martyrdom of Grand Ayatollah Imam Khamenei, describing him as a wise leader who guided the Islamic Revolution and the Islamic Republic through historic challenges for decades.
A New Stage for the Islamic Revolution
The IRGC described the election of the new Leader as “a new dawn and the beginning of a new phase for the Islamic Revolution and the Islamic Republic.”

We congratulate the election of the representative of Imam al-Mahdi (may Allah hasten his reappearance), the Leader and Wali al-Faqih of the Islamic Revolution and the sacred system of the Islamic Republic of Iran, by the Assembly of Experts for Leadership following the martyrdom of the second wise leader of the Islamic Revolution, Grand Ayatollah Imam Khamenei (may Allah have mercy upon him)—who, for 37 years, guided the Revolution and the Islamic system with wisdom, strength, and integrity through historic challenges.
We express our gratitude to Almighty God for the great blessing of Wilayat (Guardianship).
We congratulate the election of the fully qualified jurist, the young thinker, and the most knowledgeable in political and social affairs, His Eminence Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei, and declare our respect, devotion, and obedience to the one chosen by the Assembly of Experts.
This election marks a new dawn and the beginning of a new phase for the Islamic Revolution and the Islamic Republic, making the painful loss of the great leader, Grand Ayatollah Imam Khamenei, more bearable for the Iranian nation and the Islamic Ummah.
The election of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution by the decisive majority of the jurist-members of the Assembly of Experts—carried out with full precision and firmness amid the current complex circumstances—has demonstrated to all that the movement of the Islamic system does not stop and that the Islamic Revolution and system are not dependent on any single individual.
Certainly, the Wali al-Faqih of the time and architect of the monotheistic society, through dynamic and forward-looking leadership, will guide the country and the Revolution through difficult passages toward the lofty goals of the sacred Islamic system.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, as the soldier and powerful arm of Wilayat, while supporting the decision of the honorable Assembly of Experts, declares its readiness for complete obedience and self-sacrifice in carrying out the divine commands of the Wali al-Faqih of the time, Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei, and for preserving the values of the Islamic Revolution and safeguarding the precious legacy of the two leaders of the Revolution, Imam Khomeini (may Allah be pleased with him) and Imam Khamenei (may Allah have mercy upon him).
At this sensitive historical juncture, it is essential that all segments of society and all those concerned for the Islamic Republic of Iran keep in mind the divine command of Imam Khomeini, who said:
“Support the guardianship of the jurist so that no harm will come to your country.”
They must place this guidance at the forefront of their minds and hearts, and through their glorious and heroic presence in defense of Wilayat al-Faqih, the Islamic system, and the Islamic Revolution, continue on the path of completing the victories of the Islamic Republic of Iran over all bloodthirsty arrogant powers, dictatorships, monarchies, and Zionists—until the realization of a new Islamic civilization and the rising of the great sun of Wilayat.
