IRGC: More Than 200 US Troops Killed or Wounded in the Past 24 Hours
Iranian forces reported heavy losses among U.S. troops after attacks on American bases and the Al Dhafra Air Base, while air defenses shot down multiple advanced enemy drones.
Iran, PUREWILAYAH.COM - The spokesperson for the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters announced that more than 200 American terrorists were killed or wounded during the past 24 hours.
The spokesperson stated that, as part of the continuing powerful assaults on American bases in the region, a large number of soldiers and commanders of the invading U.S. army were killed or wounded over the past day, while significant damage was inflicted on their infrastructure and resources.
The casualties are reported as follows:
21 killed and several others wounded from the U.S. Navy’s Fifth Fleet in the region.
Approximately 200 killed and wounded at the Al Dhafra U.S. base.
A U.S.-owned oil tanker in the northern Persian Gulf was targeted.
82 Enemy Drones Shot Down Since the Beginning of the War
The Iranian Army also announced that 13 attacking drones were destroyed during the past 24 hours by the integrated air defense network of the Joint Khatam al-Anbiya Air Defense Headquarters.
According to Statement No. 16 issued by the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran, a total of 13 advanced drones, including MQ-9, Hermes, and Orbiter models, were intercepted and destroyed over the last day.
IRGC Navy Drone Units Launch Massive Attack on Al Dhafra Air Base
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced that naval drone units carried out a large-scale attack on Al Dhafra Air Base early this morning.
According to the IRGC Public Relations Office, a mass drone assault by the IRGC Navy struck the base, which is considered one of the largest and most important aviation facilities and command centers used by American forces in the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz.
The targeted objectives were successfully hit.
During the attack, the following facilities were struck:
The U.S. air warfare command center
The satellite communications center
Early warning radar systems
Fire control radar installations
The strike inflicted significant damage on critical military infrastructure used by American forces in the region. (PW)
