IRGC Issues Evacuation Warning Across Gulf, Vows Decisive Retaliation for Energy Infrastructure Attacks
The IRGC emphasized that prior warnings had been issued to regional governments, cautioning them against allowing their territories to be used as platforms for aggression against Iran.
Iran, PUREWILAYAH.COM — Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has issued an urgent evacuation warning targeting key energy facilities across the Persian Gulf, declaring them “legitimate targets” following what it described as aggression against Iran’s fuel and energy infrastructure.
In an official statement, the IRGC called on citizens, residents, and workers in the vicinity of major oil and gas facilities in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Qatar to immediately evacuate.
The warning specifically named five critical sites:
Samref Refinery – Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
Al-Hasan Gas Field – United Arab Emirates
Jubail Petrochemical Complex – Jubail, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
Mesaieed Petrochemical Complex and Mesaieed Holding Company (affiliated with Chevron) – Qatar
Ras Laffan Refinery (Phases 1 and 2) – Qatar
“These sites have become direct and legitimate targets and may be subject to attacks in the coming hours,” the statement said, urging immediate evacuation to safe distances without delay.
The IRGC emphasized that prior warnings had been issued to regional governments, cautioning them against allowing their territories to be used as platforms for aggression against Iran.
The statement described their actions as “blind subordination” and decisions imposed from outside their borders, adding that they bear full responsibility for the consequences.
Retaliation for Attacks on Iran’s Energy Infrastructure
The escalation follows confirmed attacks on Iran’s fuel and energy infrastructure in the southern part of the country, which Iranian officials described as acts of aggression by the United States and the Zionist regime.
The spokesman for the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters stated that Iran’s response will be “powerful and regret-inducing.”
“The criminal enemy has targeted part of Iran’s fuel and energy infrastructure in the south,” the statement said.
It added that Iran had previously warned that any attack on its fuel, gas, energy, or economic infrastructure by American or Zionist forces would trigger a forceful response.
“In addition to launching decisive attacks on the enemy, we will strike the origin of aggression with intensity,” the statement said, adding that targeting the fuel, energy, and gas infrastructure of the source of aggression is considered legitimate.
“Wait for a Decisive Response”
The statement concluded by warning that Iran’s armed forces are preparing a strong response.
“The enemies should await the decisive action of the armed forces of the Islamic Republic,” the statement said.
The developments mark a significant escalation in the regional confrontation, with energy infrastructure across the Gulf now directly drawn into the conflict.
