IRGC Intelligence Arrests Mossad Spy amid Riots in Iran
Iranian intelligence says foreign operative was gathering data and coordinating terrorist-linked activities
Iran | PUREWILAYAH.COM — The Intelligence Organization of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has apprehended a foreign national inside Iran who was spying for the Zionist regime’s intelligence service, Mossad.
In a statement released on Saturday, the IRGC Intelligence Organization said the individual had entered Iran under cover and was operating deliberately on behalf of Mossad.
According to the statement, the suspect was arrested while actively collecting intelligence and assessing the status of terrorist activities carried out by operatives linked to him.
Hard Evidence of Espionage Discovered
The IRGC said that a detailed inspection of the arrestee’s belongings and hideout uncovered hard evidence confirming his involvement in espionage activities for the Zionist regime.
Iranian intelligence forces emphasized that the operation was carried out as part of ongoing efforts to dismantle foreign-backed networks operating inside the country.
Monarchist Rioters Wreak Havoc Across Iranian Cities
The arrest comes amid violent unrest in several Iranian cities over recent days, where monarchist-backed rioters have vandalized public and private property, blocked streets, and attacked government buildings and police stations.
The riots have resulted in the killing of civilians and members of security forces, as well as injuries to law enforcement personnel. Government buildings, private shops, and even mosques have sustained significant damage during the violence.
Iranian authorities have repeatedly stressed that such acts of arson, sabotage, and coordinated attacks bear the hallmarks of organized and foreign-supported destabilization efforts. (PW)
