IRGC Destroys Terrorist Positions in Iraqi Kurdistan
Targeted intelligence operation using 30 drones eliminates hostile bases planning infiltration against Iran’s national security.
Iran, PUREWILAYAH.COM – The Public Relations Office of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced the successful destruction of hostile anti-revolutionary militant positions in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq following a precise and intelligence-driven operation.
According to the statement, the targeted groups were actively planning infiltration and hostile actions against the sacred borders and national security of the Islamic Republic of Iran. In response, IRGC operational units carried out a powerful strike deploying 30 drones, resulting in the complete destruction of the identified positions.
30 Drones Deployed in Decisive Preemptive Strike
The operation was described as decisive and preemptive, aimed at neutralizing imminent threats before they could materialize inside Iranian territory. The coordinated drone deployment reflects the IRGC’s evolving intelligence and unmanned aerial capabilities in countering cross-border security risks.
Military sources indicated that the action was carried out after comprehensive surveillance and confirmation of hostile preparations in the targeted locations.
No Leniency Toward Aggressors, Sovereignty and Territorial Integrity Remain Red Lines
The IRGC further emphasized that firm and rapid confrontation with all aggressive and hostile groups, in any geographical area, remains a standing directive for its security and operational units.
The statement underscored that no leniency will be shown toward either the perpetrators or those hosting elements involved in actions against Iran’s national security.
Iranian authorities reaffirmed that safeguarding the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity remains an uncompromising priority. Any attempt to undermine national security, they warned, will be met with swift, decisive, and forceful action. (PW)
