IRGC Chief to Israel: Any Miscalculation Will Open the Gates of Hell
Major General Hossein Salami warns that Iran is ready for decisive retaliation, as tensions escalate over Gaza, U.S. provocations, and Netanyahu’s threats against Iran’s nuclear program.
Iran, PUREWILAYAH.COM - Major General Hossein Salami, the commander of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), delivered a stern warning on Wednesday, vowing that any military miscalculation by the Israeli occupation would trigger a devastating and relentless response from the Islamic Republic.
Speaking to IRGC forces in the western Iranian province of Hamedan, Salami dismissed Israel’s recent rhetoric as hollow threats, stating, “If they make any stupid mistake, we will open the gates of hell upon them.”
“Our fingers are on the trigger, and we wait in ambush to give prompt responses if they [the enemies] make a wrong move—responses so decisive they will erase the memory of their past,” he declared, emphasizing Iran’s preparedness and swift reaction capabilities.
Message to the U.S.: Ready for All Scenarios
General Salami also addressed the United States, cautioning Washington against further pressure and provocations. He affirmed that Iran is fully prepared for “every scenario” and would not bow to foreign political manipulation.
“Our deterrent capability is real and rooted in ideological conviction,” he said, underlining that Iran has developed military strength capable of standing against the world’s most powerful forces.
His statements follow similar warnings issued by Iranian officials in recent weeks, including a March address by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, who warned the U.S. and its allies that any military adventurism would be met with a forceful response.
Netanyahu Pushes Military Action as Trump Seeks Nuclear Deal
While the U.S., under former President Donald Trump, appears focused on reviving a nuclear agreement with Iran, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is reportedly attempting to sabotage the diplomatic process by pushing for preemptive strikes against Iran’s nuclear infrastructure.
According to The New York Times, Netanyahu has pressured Trump through private discussions and high-level meetings in Washington and Rome. He insists that the U.S. should take military action, even unilaterally if necessary.
Trump, however, reportedly favors leveraging Iran’s weakened economy to extract favorable terms in diplomacy. On Sunday, Trump hinted that “something good” might emerge from ongoing talks within the next two days. Still, officials believe any outcome would likely be a preliminary framework, with detailed negotiations postponed.
U.S.-Israel Divide Over Iran Strategy Widens
The rift between Trump and Netanyahu centers on their differing strategies toward Iran. Trump prefers diplomatic pressure, while Netanyahu sees an urgent military window and views uranium enrichment as unacceptable under any deal.
Israeli officials fear Trump may settle for a symbolic agreement that permits continued enrichment in Iran. Netanyahu, in contrast, demands the total dismantlement of all Iranian nuclear sites—including deeply fortified facilities in Natanz and Fordow.
Netanyahu has long opposed engagement with Tehran. He strongly rejected the 2015 nuclear deal under President Barack Obama and even addressed the U.S. Congress to lobby against it. Now, as diplomacy resurfaces, Netanyahu is reviving hardline tactics and signaling Israel’s willingness to act alone. (PW)
