IRGC Chief: Iran Speeds Up Stealth Missile Program
Tehran Highlights Lessons of 12-Day War, Says Future Confrontations Will Face Even Greater Iranian Capabilities
Iran, PUREWILAYAH.COM - Major General Mohammad Pakpour, commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps, announced that Iran is accelerating the development of stealth-enabled missile systems, stressing that any new act of aggression by the Israeli regime or the United States will trigger a far harsher and more decisive response.
Speaking at Imam Hussein (AS) University during Student’s Day commemorations, Pakpour said the 12-day conflict in June — initiated by Israel and later joined by the United States — has been comprehensively reviewed by Iran’s military institutions.
What emerged, he noted, was a confrontation not limited to the Zionist regime but involving American, European, and other Western powers.
“This was a war of technology,” he said, emphasizing that Iran effectively fought against a global technological coalition aligned behind Israel.
AI Played Central Role on Both Sides of the Conflict
Pakpour revealed that both Iran and its adversaries relied heavily on artificial intelligence for tracking, monitoring, and target identification during the war.
This, he said, demonstrates how modern warfare has shifted toward high-tech domains where Iran must maintain an adaptive and resilient posture.
He warned that while the enemy is working to fix its weaknesses exposed during the conflict, Iran must simultaneously address its own gaps and anticipate the technological steps its adversaries will take next.
Iran to Expand Air Defense and Stealth-Missile Capabilities
The IRGC commander underlined the critical role of Imam Hussein (AS) University and other scientific centers in developing advanced equipment, tools, and weapons for the armed forces.
He stressed that Iran must make significant strides in air defense, stealth applications, and missile survivability, saying:
“If Iran equips its missiles with stealth capabilities, it will greatly increase their ability to penetrate the Zionist regime’s defense shield.”
Pakpour emphasized that strengthening Iran’s deterrence architecture is both necessary and inevitable as long as hostile powers continue to target the Islamic Republic.
Israel and the US Launching Illegal and Unprovoked War
On June 13, Israel launched an unprovoked assault on Iran, assassinating senior commanders, nuclear scientists, and civilians.
More than a week later, the United States escalated the conflict by bombing three Iranian nuclear facilities — an act Iran condemned as a blatant violation of the UN Charter, international law, and the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty.
Iran’s armed forces responded by striking strategic sites deep inside the occupied Palestinian territories as well as the US al-Udeid Air Base in Qatar, the largest American military hub in West Asia.
On June 24, Iran announced that its retaliatory operations successfully halted the illegal assault.
Tehran: Any New Attack Will Face “Even More Crushing” Response
Senior Iranian military officials have repeatedly warned that any new Israeli or American aggression will be met with a more powerful retaliatory blow.
Pakpour reiterated that message, noting that the enemy fully understands the consequences of further missteps:
“If they attempt any act of aggression, the response will be harsher and more crushing than before.”
The commander said this conclusion is now widely accepted even among Israel’s and America’s own strategic assessments. (PW)
