Iran’s Top Military Chief Affirms Support for Qatar Against Israeli Aggression
Major General Mousavi condemns Israeli attack on Doha, vows Iran’s readiness to stand by Qatar
Iran, PUREWILAYAH.COM - Following the recent Israeli terrorist strike on Doha, the Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi, held talks with Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Qatar’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs.
General Mousavi strongly condemned the attack, calling it part of the Zionist regime’s ongoing pattern of destabilization and aggression in the region.
He stressed that Iran’s armed forces will never hesitate to support the Qatari nation, describing the relationship between the two countries as one of enduring brotherhood.
Blame on U.S. and Western Support
Mousavi underlined that Israel’s repeated aggressions are directly enabled by Western backing.
“The unwavering support of the West, especially the United States, for the occupation, suppression, and killing of the Palestinian people is the main factor behind the Zionist regime’s boldness,” he said.
He added that the invasion of Qatar “would not have happened without the coordination and green light of the United States,” emphasizing that Israel cannot survive without direct and indirect Western support.
Iran’s Readiness to Assist Qatar
The top Iranian commander reiterated the readiness of Iran’s armed forces to cooperate with Qatar at every level.
“The government, nation, and armed forces of Qatar should know that the Islamic Republic of Iran will stand by them to the end,” he affirmed.
For his part, Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani described the Israeli strike as a cowardly act and a “dagger” inflicted upon Qatar.
“The Israeli regime does not adhere to any rules or principles. This attack was a violation of all red lines and international diplomatic norms,” he said.
He expressed gratitude for Iran’s supportive stance and emphasized the need for joint discussions to establish practical solutions against such acts of aggression. (PW)
