Iran's Assembly of Experts Issues 10-Point Statement Supporting Supreme Leader
Sixty-two members of Iran’s Assembly of Experts urged officials to uphold the Supreme Leader’s red lines, respond firmly to any MoU violations, and safeguard Iran’s strategic rights.
Iran, PUREWILAYAH.COM – Sixty-two of the 86 members of Iran’s Assembly of Experts have issued a joint 10-point statement following the recent message of Supreme Leader Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei and recent developments, calling on officials, particularly negotiators, to strictly observe the Leader’s red lines. The signatories described adherence to those red lines as a religious obligation and said they must not be violated under any circumstances.
The statement emphasizes that Iran’s nuclear rights must remain entirely outside the scope of negotiations. It also calls for pursuing what it describes as the Leader’s and the Iranian people’s non-negotiable demands, including maintaining Iran’s management over the Strait of Hormuz, obtaining compensation for war damages, securing the release of frozen assets, lifting all sanctions, and ensuring the withdrawal of US forces from the region.
The signatories further called for an immediate response to any breach of the memorandum of understanding, citing the continued violations by the Israeli regime in Lebanon and its failure to withdraw from occupied territories. They also urged officials to avoid statements that could project weakness, reaffirmed that the Supreme Leader’s judgment is final within the system of Wilayat al-Faqih, and called on the Iranian people to preserve unity and remain actively present for as long as the Supreme Leader deems necessary.
The Ten-Point Statement by Members of the Assembly of Experts
In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful
To the Insightful and Revolutionary People of Islamic Iran,
We extend our condolences on the days of mourning for the Master of the Martyrs and his loyal companions. We pray for the health, dignity, and long life of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution (may his shadow be prolonged), for the decisive victory of our devoted fighters, and for greater honor and dignity for you, the ever-present people of the Islamic Republic. Following the guiding message of the Wise Leader of the Islamic Revolution (may his shadow be prolonged) and in light of recent developments, we present the following points:
1. While expressing our appreciation to the officials, especially the respected negotiators—who, according to the Supreme Leader, are sincerely and in good faith pursuing the rights of the Iranian nation and the Resistance Front—we expect them, in light of the bitter experience of past damaging negotiations, to remain fully alert to the schemes of the deceitful and ill-reputed enemy. They should bear in mind that observing the Leader’s red lines is a religious obligation, and violating them is not permissible under any circumstances.
2. The issue of identifying the aggressor, naming those whose blood has become liable due to the unprecedented crimes committed during the recent imposed war—especially the criminal President of the United States and the wicked Prime Minister of the Zionist regime—their punishment, and avenging the blood of the Martyred Imam of the Ummah (may Allah be pleased with him), must under no circumstances be neglected or ignored. It is the religious duty of every capable person who gains access to these criminals to bring them to justice.
3. In accordance with the commitments made by the respected officials to the Leader and the people, we expect that any breach of the memorandum of understanding and any violation of its provisions will be answered immediately. Therefore, in light of the continued aggression and crimes of the wicked Zionist regime in Lebanon and its failure to withdraw from the occupied territories—which constitutes a clear violation of the first clause of the memorandum—the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz is contrary to the commitments of the officials, constitutes a strategic mistake, and will only embolden the enemy to continue violating its obligations.
4. We once again remind all concerned that, in accordance with the binding guidance of the Supreme Leader (may his shadow be prolonged), the country’s nuclear rights must neither become a subject of discussion nor dispute and must remain entirely outside the scope of the negotiations.
5. Consolidating control over the Strait of Hormuz, obtaining compensation for war damages, recovering frozen assets, lifting sanctions, and securing the withdrawal of the United States from the region are non-negotiable demands of the Leader and the people. These objectives must be pursued while preserving the dignity and honor of the Iranian nation. Any negligence in this regard will certainly be met with a reaction from the people.
6. Officials must refrain from any statements that encourage the enemy’s arrogance or create the impression that the country is weak or that the nation lacks resilience. At a time when the courageous resistance of our self-sacrificing fighters has driven the arrogant United States into a state of helplessness, no remarks should be made that suggest weakness or incapacity on the part of the country.
7. Everyone, especially the respected officials, knows that within the system of Wilayat al-Faqih (Guardianship of the Jurist), the opinion and judgment of the Leader is final. Once the definitive view of the Supreme Jurist is known, no official can or should act contrary to it.
8. Since abundant evidence indicates that the enemy is merely seeking time to regroup and advance certain plans—including the upcoming elections—and because there is a high probability of renewed aggression thereafter, the matters contained in the memorandum of understanding must be resolved within the stipulated 30-day and 60-day deadlines. Any prolongation of these negotiations must be firmly avoided.
9. We ask our dear nation to continue its conscious and steadfast presence in the field. While preserving sacred unity and avoiding any action that undermines that unity, the people should pay no attention to the divisive remarks of certain uninformed individuals who seek to restrict this divine mission. The presence of the people remains essential and decisive for as long as the Supreme Leader (may his shadow be prolonged) considers it necessary.
10. We, the servants of the people in the Assembly of Experts, as part of this nation, will remain alongside the esteemed Leadership and the entire people. While wishing success to the respected officials, we await the fulfillment of the stated conditions and promises and, whenever necessary, will carry out our religious duty.
And peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you.
