In a statement issued by the General Staff of the Armed Forces and the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, Iran’s military leadership congratulated the Assembly of Experts for electing Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei as the third Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The statement also renewed condolences for the martyrdom of Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, describing him as the leader of the Islamic Ummah.
Armed Forces Declare Loyalty to the New Leader
Iran’s Armed Forces declared that commanders, fighters, and the entire military establishment have pledged allegiance to Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei as Wali al-Faqih, Leader of the Islamic Revolution, and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces.

Warning to the Enemies of Iran
Iran’s Armed Forces warned that under the leadership of Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei, they will defend the country with greater determination than ever before.
The statement specifically named the United States and other hostile forces of global arrogance as enemies seeking to undermine Iran and the Islamic Ummah.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces and the Command of the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters once again extend their condolences on the martyrdom of the Leader of the Islamic Ummah, Grand Ayatollah Imam Khamenei (may Allah sanctify his pure soul).
They also congratulate His Eminence Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei on his election as Wali al-Faqih and the Leader of the Islamic Revolution by the honorable members of the Assembly of Experts for Leadership, and extend these congratulations to His Eminence Imam al-Mahdi (may our souls be sacrificed for him) and to the noble, grateful, vigilant, and loyal people of Iran.
The Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran—along with all commanders, fighters, and the great family of the Armed Forces—while renewing their covenant with the ideals of the two leaders of the Islamic Revolution, declare their allegiance (bay‘ah) to Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei as a fully qualified jurist, just leader, aware of the needs of the time, capable statesman, learned and practicing scholar, ascetic, pious, and wise administrator.
Under his command, they will mobilize all their capabilities and efforts, and under the leadership and command of that just jurist they will strive to realize the ideals of the Islamic Revolution.
The honorable representatives of the Assembly of Experts have demonstrated their wisdom and foresight by selecting a worthy leader to guide the sacred system of the Islamic Republic through this critical historical juncture, an action that deserves appreciation and praise.
The Armed Forces declare that under the commands and guidance of the Leader elected by the Assembly of Experts, Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei (may his shadow endure), as Wali al-Faqih, Leader, and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, they will stand on the field with greater strength, firmness, and revolutionary spirit than before in safeguarding the achievements of the Islamic Revolution.
They further declare that the enemies of the Islamic Ummah—especially the criminal United States and other hostile forces of global arrogance—will be made to regret any aggression, assault, or transgression against Muslims and the honorable, patient, faithful, and revolutionary nation of Iran.
The Armed Forces will resist and stand firm until the last breath and the last drop of blood under the command of their beloved Leader in defense of the country’s interests and security against the conspiracies of the enemies of Islam and dear Iran.
