Iran’s Armed Forces at Peak Readiness to Deliver Painful Response to Any Aggression
Parliament’s National Security Commission meets with Chief of General Staff to review defense posture and recent operations
Iran, PUREWILAYAH.COM - Ebrahim Rezaei, spokesperson for Iran’s Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, announced that the commission held a session with Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, and his deputies.
During the meeting, Major General Mousavi provided a detailed briefing on the latest status of the Armed Forces, their defensive readiness to counter threats, as well as recent military operations — particularly those conducted during the 12-day war — highlighting the blows inflicted on the Zionist regime.
Firm Stance Against Any Enemy
Rezaei quoted Major General Mousavi as stressing that Iran will stand with full strength and resolve against its enemies and will defend the nation without hesitation.
Deputy commanders also presented reports from their respective areas of responsibility.
Based on the discussions, Rezaei concluded that Iran’s Armed Forces are currently in a state of full readiness, at the highest level of defense and combat capability, and prepared to deliver a regret-inducing response to any act of aggression.
“If an attack were to occur against our country, our response would be even more decisive and painful than before,” Rezaei asserted, adding that military capabilities and readiness are now significantly greater than in the past.
Parliament’s Full Support for the Armed Forces
Members of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission expressed their appreciation for the sacrifices and dedication of Iran’s Armed Forces in defending the nation.
They reaffirmed full parliamentary support for the military, emphasized strengthening the country’s defense capabilities, and stressed the need to address the livelihood and welfare of military personnel as well as meeting their operational requirements. (PW)
