Iran, PUREWILAYAH.COM — Iranian leaders issued messages of condolence following the martyrdom of Dr. Ali Larijani, Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council, emphasizing the continuation of the path of resistance and affirming that the blood of martyrs will lead to victory.
President Pezeshkian: Deep Sorrow and Recognition of a Lifetime of Service
President Masoud Pezeshkian issued a message following the martyrdom of Dr. Ali Larijani, Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council.
The president stated that Larijani’s martyrdom caused deep sorrow and grief, describing him as a distinguished and valuable figure who served the Islamic Republic in various positions.
He said that during years of cooperation in parliament and in his recent role as Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council, he witnessed from Larijani goodwill, insight, cooperation, and foresight.
Pezeshkian stated that compensating for this loss would be difficult, adding that Larijani attained martyrdom after years of sincere and courageous efforts in cultural, political, and national security fields.
He also stated that Larijani worked in his final role to promote peace and security in the region, strengthen unity among Islamic countries, and contribute to international security and resistance.
The president added that those responsible for the killing of Iranian martyrs would face a severe response, and emphasized that the path of resistance will continue and that victory awaits the Iranian nation.
IRGC: Martyr’s Blood Will Be a Source of Strength and Awakening
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) issued a statement following the martyrdom of the Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council.
The IRGC stated that the pure blood of this martyr, like that of other martyrs, will be a source of dignity, strength, and national awakening in the face of global arrogance and international Zionism.
The statement added that the IRGC will not forget to avenge this martyr and other martyrs of the Sacred Defense.
The IRGC also described Larijani as a distinguished figure, thinker, revolutionary statesman, and influential presence in various fields of the Islamic system, who held positions in parliament, national broadcasting, the IRGC, and the Supreme National Security Council.
Ghalibaf: Blood of Martyrs Guarantees Final Victory
Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf also issued a message of condolence.
He described martyrdom as the aspiration of those who struggle in the path of truth and as a distinction for those who remain steadfast in their covenant.
Ghalibaf referred to Larijani as a companion in the struggle against global arrogance and stated that he served in fields including culture, media, management, and politics.
He emphasized that the path of martyrdom will continue and stated that the blood of martyrs guarantees the certain and final victory of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
