Iran Will Advance Beyond the Loss: Supreme Leader Vows Accelerated Progress
The future will show that both our military and scientific advancements will move forward with greater momentum than before toward lofty horizons, God willing
Iran, PUREWILAYAH.COM - In a solemn and resolute message marking the 40th day since the martyrdom of several senior Iranian commanders and nuclear scientists, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, declared that the nation’s military and scientific trajectory will not be hindered—but rather energized—by the recent tragedy.
“The foolish, shortsighted enemy failed to achieve its goal,” Imam Khamenei stated. “The future will show that both our military and scientific advancements will move forward with greater momentum than before toward lofty horizons, God willing.”
A Nation in Mourning, A Nation in Motion
Addressing the dignified people of Iran, the Leader expressed heartfelt condolences for the loss of some of the country’s most capable minds and devoted defenders.
Among the martyrs were commanders such as Bagheri, Salami, Rashid, Hajizadeh, and Shadmani, as well as nuclear scientists Tehranchi, Abbasi, and others.
Imam Khamenei acknowledged the gravity of their loss, stating it was “a heavy blow for any nation.”
Yet, he emphasized that their martyrdom was not in vain. These individuals had knowingly embarked on a path where martyrdom was a likely outcome—motivated by selfless devotion to the Islamic Republic and its ideals.
“Congratulations to them,” the Supreme Leader said, “for attaining what so many lovers of sacrifice aspire to.”
Iran’s Strength Lies in Faith, Unity, and Purpose
Ayatollah Khamenei outlined three luminous aspects that have emerged from this painful chapter:
The extraordinary endurance of the bereaved families, whose patience and spiritual resilience embody the core values of the Islamic Republic;
The institutional stability of Iran’s scientific and military programs, which continued undeterred despite the losses;
The miraculous unity and steadfastness of the Iranian people, whose solidarity in times of crisis continues to astonish the world.
“These are the signs of a nation rooted in divine principles and unwavering will,” the Leader affirmed.
The Zionist Regime’s Futile Aggression
Imam Khamenei directly pointed to the Zionist regime as the perpetrator of this act of terror, labeling it “the ruling evil, criminal entity, and the vile, vicious enemy of the Iranian nation.” However, he stressed that such aggression only reveals the desperation and shortsightedness of Iran’s enemies.
“They are hammering on cold iron,” he said, suggesting that their efforts to destabilize the Islamic Republic are doomed to fail.
A National Call to Responsibility
In his address, the Supreme Leader laid out a broad vision of collective responsibility across all segments of Iranian society:
Scholars are tasked with accelerating the pace of scientific and technological advancement.
Writers and speakers must uphold the dignity and honor of the nation.
Military leaders must ensure continued strength and security.
Executive officials are to work diligently and complete national tasks with precision.
Religious scholars and clerics should guide the people spiritually and strengthen their patience and hope.
Youth, especially, are called upon to maintain revolutionary fervor and remain ever conscious of their mission.
A Final Benediction
Concluding his message, Ayatollah Khamenei extended his salutations to the people of Iran and invoked blessings upon all martyrs—men, women, and children—who have fallen in defense of the nation and its values.
“Peace be upon the martyred youth, the martyred women and children, all the martyrs, and those who mourn them,” the Supreme Leader prayed. “May God’s greetings and mercy be upon you.” (PW)
