Iran Warns US-Israeli Alliance Against Further Escalation
Iranian officials say Tehran has rewritten the ceasefire equation, warning that any renewed US-Israeli aggression in Lebanon could reignite confrontation across the region.
Iran, PUREWILAYAH.COM — Senior Iranian officials warned the United States and Israel against further escalation on Monday, declaring that Tehran’s recent retaliatory operation had established a new deterrence equation and that any renewed aggression against Lebanon could trigger a resumption of military confrontation.
The statements came after Iran launched a painful retaliatory response to Israel’s attack on Beirut’s Southern Suburb, where Israeli warplanes bombed a residential building on Sunday, killing two civilians and injuring 20 others, including women and children.
Iranian media reported that Tehran accepted the current ceasefire arrangement under new conditions, warning that military operations could resume if Israeli attacks on Beirut and southern Lebanon continue.
Ghalibaf: Iran Has Changed the Ceasefire Equation
Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Ghalibaf said the Islamic Republic had already overturned what he described as both the ceasefire arrangement on paper and its repeated violations on the ground.
“We shattered the ceasefire equation on paper and its repeated violations in practice,” Ghalibaf said.
He added that Iran’s position would remain unchanged unless there was a genuine effort to rebuild trust.
“As long as there is no real will for confidence-building, Iran’s response will remain the same,” he stated.
Operation Victory Showcased New Level of Deterrence
Iranian Vice President Mohammad Reza Aref said recent military developments demonstrated a new level of Iranian deterrence.
In a post on X, Aref stated that the enemy quickly realized the consequences of confronting Iran and was forced to seek an end to the fighting.
“The enemy quickly experienced the strength, determination, and expertise of the sons of this land and was compelled to once again plead for Iran to accept a halt to the fighting,” he wrote.
Aref described Operation Victory as a turning point in Iran’s deterrence posture.
“Operation Victory showcased a new level of deterrence by a powerful Iran,” he asserted.
“We do not seek war, but we will not hesitate for a single moment in defending our territory and our values.”
Tehran Links Regional Stability to End of Israeli Aggression
The strongest warning came from Mohammad Baqer Zolghadr, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, who cautioned the Israeli-American alliance against further escalation.
In a statement marking “47 years and 100 days of resistance,” Zolghadr said the experience of the Islamic Revolution and the Resistance Axis had reshaped the global security order.
“Forty-seven years and one hundred days of resistance—from the battlefield to the public square, and from the public square to the arenas of politics and diplomacy—have transformed the global security order,” he said.
Addressing Washington and Tel Aviv directly, he warned:
“If you are searching for a credible threat, look no further than Washington and Tel Aviv.”
He further stated that any new miscalculation by what he described as the “Zionist-American coalition” would have severe consequences.
“Should the satanic Zionist-American coalition once again commit a miscalculation, the region will become a living hell for it.”
Zolghadr also paid tribute to the victims of the Israeli attack on Beirut’s Southern Suburb, offering condolences to the martyrs of Dahiyeh.
Iranian Officials Say Operation Victory Raised Deterrence
Iranian Vice President Mohammad Reza Aref said recent military developments demonstrated a new level of Iranian deterrence.
Writing on X, Aref stated that Iran’s enemies quickly realized the consequences of confronting the Islamic Republic.
“The enemy quickly experienced the strength, determination, and expertise of the sons of this land and was compelled to once again plead for Iran to accept a halt to the fighting,” he wrote.
Aref described Operation Victory as evidence of a stronger deterrence posture.
“Operation Victory showcased a new level of deterrence by a powerful Iran,” he said.
While emphasizing that Iran does not seek war, he reiterated that Tehran would not hesitate to defend its territory and principles.
Baghaei: Makers of Chaos Become Victims of Their Own Strategy
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei also issued a lengthy statement that appeared aimed at Washington and Tel Aviv.
Baghaei argued that those who rely on instability, deception, and perpetual conflict as instruments of power ultimately become trapped by the crises they create.
“He who constructs his ladder from chaos convinces himself that he will rise to dominion over men. Yet he remains blind to the first and most inevitable truth: the maker of chaos is always its primary victim,” he wrote.
According to Baghaei, governments and leaders who abandon peace in favor of continuous confrontation become prisoners of the very conflicts they cultivate.
“The man who finds no value in honouring his obligations or preserving peace, but instead prospers through discord, deception, and perpetual strife, condemns himself to an exhausting and Sisyphean labour,” he said.
He added that the architects of conflict eventually lose control over the forces they unleash.
“Their final humiliation arrives the moment they realise that the weapon they forged to subjugate others has slipped its leash and now possesses a will of its own.”
“In that bitter awakening lies the true poverty of their power—and the beginning of their inevitable downfall.”
Conditional Ceasefire
The statements came after Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters announced that a painful response had already been delivered to Israel and that military operations had been suspended for the time being.
Iranian media reports indicated that Tehran accepted the current ceasefire arrangement under new conditions, warning that confrontation could resume if US-Israeli aggression against Beirut and southern Lebanon continues. (PW)
