Iran Warns Hostile Rhetoric Will Not Go Unanswered
Army Chief Says Escalating Threats Target National Security as Tehran Reaffirms High Military Readiness
Iran, PUREWILAYAH.COM - Iran has reaffirmed that it will respond decisively to any threats or hostile rhetoric directed against the country, with the Commander-in-Chief of the Iranian Army, Amir Hatami, warning that escalating verbal aggression is being treated as a direct threat to national security.
Speaking to students of the 86th course at the Army’s Command and Staff University, Major General Hatami stressed that Tehran remains fully prepared to confront any miscalculation by its adversaries.
“Any enemy miscalculation will be met with a more decisive response, and the hands of any aggressor would be cut off,” Hatami said.
‘New World Order’ Driving Global Instability
Hatami described the current international environment as part of a broader effort to impose a so-called “new world order,” which he said has deliberately fueled instability and insecurity at global, regional, and national levels.
He pointed to historical developments in West Asia, including the collapse of the Ottoman Empire and the creation of Israel, as outcomes shaped by external powers seeking long-term domination of the region.
Citing remarks by former U.S. President Joe Biden following Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, Hatami said Biden’s assertion that Israel “would have to be created if it did not exist” laid bare Washington’s unwavering support for the Israeli regime.
Enemies Target Iran’s Core Sources of Power
The Army chief said Iran’s strategic position and the principles of the Islamic Revolution continue to be targeted by hostile powers seeking to weaken the country’s national capabilities.
“The nation and the Leader of the Islamic Revolution are the two fundamental pillars of Iran’s power, and enemies harbor the greatest hostility toward these two pillars,” Hatami stated.
He emphasized that such hostility reflects an effort to undermine Iran’s independence and political system rather than legitimate security concerns.
Armed Forces at Highest Level of Readiness
Reflecting on the lessons of the recent 12-day war on Iran, Hatami said the readiness of the country’s armed forces — including the Army, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, and law enforcement units — is higher than ever.
He reaffirmed the armed forces’ commitment to defending Iran’s independence, territorial integrity, and political order against any external aggression.
Hatami Praises Iranian Public Conduct
Addressing domestic developments, Hatami praised the Iranian people for their conduct during protests over economic hardship, noting that citizens clearly separated themselves from rioters and rejected foreign-driven agendas.
He described the public’s dignity, patience, and political awareness as a source of national pride, emphasizing that peaceful protest remains a protected right under the law.
Iranian officials, he noted, continue to distinguish between lawful protest and organized acts of rioting, sabotage, or violence, vowing to maintain dialogue with citizens while enforcing firm legal and security measures against attempts to destabilize the country.
Iran Executes Mossad Spy
In a separate development, Iran’s Judiciary executed Ali Ardestani, who was convicted of espionage for Israel’s Mossad intelligence service.
According to court documents, Ardestani was recruited via online communication and carried out intelligence missions in exchange for financial rewards and promises of a British visa. He provided photographs and sensitive information, met with Mossad operatives inside Iran, and was arrested while conducting an active mission.
The Supreme Court confirmed the sentence after all legal procedures were completed. Authorities said Ardestani admitted his actions were motivated by financial gain.
Iranian officials stated that the country has acted swiftly against espionage threats, arresting and prosecuting multiple individuals involved in intelligence activities for hostile entities since the war on Iran ended in late June. (PW)
