Iran Warns Gulf Hotels to Reject U.S. Troops After They Fled Bases
Iran’s foreign minister reveals U.S. military concealment among civilians and exposes Washington’s contradictions, as Israeli military strain deepens under prolonged conflict.
Iran,PUREWILAYAH.COM - Iran’s Foreign Minister, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, stated that American forces have abandoned their military bases across Persian Gulf countries and have moved into civilian locations, including hotels and office buildings.
He explained that this shift began from the early days of the war, as U.S. personnel sought concealment rather than maintaining a visible military presence.
Araghchi emphasized that such actions amount to the use of civilians as human shields, placing ordinary people in direct danger.
“From outset of this war, U.S. soldiers fled military bases in GCC to hide in hotels and offices. They use GCC citizens as human shield,” he said.
He further stressed that U.S.-affiliated hotels do not provide accommodation to military personnel who may endanger civilian safety, and called on Gulf states to adopt the same policy by refusing services to American forces.
“Hotels in U.S. deny bookings to officers who may endanger customers. GCC hotels should do same.”
“Negotiation While Aggression Continues Is a Contradiction”
Separately, Araghchi addressed Washington’s calls for negotiations, describing them as fundamentally contradictory as military operations and deployments continue.
During a phone call with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, both sides discussed ongoing regional developments and the consequences of continued U.S. and Israeli attacks on Iran.
While expressing appreciation for regional efforts to stop the aggression, Araghchi stated that pursuing negotiations while simultaneously escalating military actions and sending additional forces to the region reflects a clear contradiction in U.S. behavior and rhetoric.
Iran: Defending Sovereignty and National Security
Reaffirming Iran’s position, Araghchi stressed that Iran did not initiate the war and is actively defending its sovereignty, national security, and territorial integrity against aggressors.
He called on countries in the region and the broader international community to act responsibly by condemning the actions of the United States and Israel, and to hold them accountable for violations of international law and attacks against Iran.
Hakan Fidan, for his part, reiterated Türkiye’s commitment to continued diplomatic efforts aimed at stopping the war.
Israeli Military Under Severe Pressure
At the same time, internal strain within Israel’s military is becoming increasingly visible.
According to a leaked cabinet recording reported by N12, Israeli Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir warned that the military is approaching a breaking point after prolonged conflict.
“I am raising ten red flags,” Zamir told ministers, stressing the urgent need for new laws on conscription, reserves, and extended service.
He warned that reserve forces may soon be unable to sustain operations under current conditions, adding that the military could soon struggle to carry out even routine missions. (PW)
