Iran Strikes Back: Missiles Hit Central and Northern "Israel" in Major Retaliation
First Iranian Response Following U.S. Airstrikes on Nuclear Facilities; Multiple Impact Sites Confirmed, Casualties Reported
Iran, PUREWILAYAH.COM - A new wave of Iranian ballistic missile strikes targeted central and northern areas of "Israel" on Sunday, marking the first retaliatory attack since the United States launched coordinated airstrikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities at dawn the same day. Air raid sirens were activated in several areas, and Israeli authorities instructed settlers to remain in shelters as the missiles approached.
According to the Israeli military, approximately 30 missiles were launched from Iranian territory in two separate salvos, aimed primarily at the Gush Dan region and northern sectors. Iranian state media reported that at least 10 distinct sites were successfully struck during the operation.
However, reports indicate that sirens failed to activate in several impacted areas—particularly in Haifa—raising serious concerns over the efficacy of the Zionist entity’s early warning systems.
Iran's IRGC announced that they employed the missile "Kheibar" in the 20th round of retaliatory strikes on occupied territories.
Confirmed Missile Impacts in Multiple Urban Centers
Confirmed impact zones included the cities of Haifa, Tel Aviv, Ness Ziona, Beer Yaakov, and Ramla, as well as the settlement of Bat Yam, where a residential building caught fire following a direct hit.
Notably in Haifa, one of the missiles landed without any prior warning, triggering public outrage and exposing significant gaps in the regime’s alert infrastructure.
Meanwhile, Iranian media reported that more than 20 missiles successfully landed across various regions in the occupied territories.
23 Settlers Reportedly Injured, Some Critically
Citing Magen David Adom (MDA), Israeli media confirmed that 23 settlers were injured in the attacks, with several listed in critical condition. Emergency response teams are actively surveying the affected areas for casualties and structural damage, and efforts are ongoing to ensure all impacted locations are secured.
MDA noted that emergency crews continue to operate in high-alert mode, responding to multiple distress calls across central and northern sectors.
Zionist Authorities Urge Public Silence, Media Censorship Imposed
In the wake of the strikes, Israeli authorities renewed their call for settlers to remain inside shelters, particularly in Haifa and al-Jalil, where additional sirens were later activated. In parallel, the Israeli military’s spokesperson urged the public and media outlets to refrain from sharing photos or videos from the impact zones, citing “security concerns.”
Despite the censorship directive, footage from the affected areas has continued to surface online, revealing scenes of extensive destruction and emergency operations underway.
Wave 20 of Operation True Promise 3 Officially Announced by IRGC
Simultaneously, Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) officially announced the launch of the 20th wave of Operation True Promise 3, confirming that long-range ballistic missiles equipped with high-impact warheads and advanced evasion systems were used in the strike.
Major General Naeini, IRGC spokesperson, stated that this round employed missiles with both liquid and solid fuel propulsion systems, tailored specifically to bypass Israeli and U.S.-supplied air defense layers. The operation, he explained, demonstrates Iran’s enhanced missile capability and strategic resolve.
Targets confirmed by the IRGC include:
Ben Gurion Airport
Israeli Biological Research Center
Multiple command, control, and logistical bases across various levels of the regime’s military infrastructure
General Naeini described the latest strike as part of Iran’s broader military response to the unprovoked aggression by the United States and the Israeli occupation regime, emphasizing that Tehran’s position remains firm in defending its sovereignty and deterring further attacks. (PW)
