Iran Executes Mossad Spy Behind Leak That Led to Nuclear Scientist’s Assassination
Rouzbeh Vadi passed classified intelligence to Israel, enabling assassination during Zionist strikes in June 2025
TEHRAN, PUREWILAYAH.COM — Iran has executed Rouzbeh Vadi, a convicted spy who passed top-secret information to Israel’s Mossad, directly leading to the assassination of one of Iran’s nuclear scientists during the Zionist regime’s military assault in June.
According to Iran’s judiciary, Vadi held a sensitive government position and used his access to leak intelligence regarding Iran’s nuclear program. He met Mossad agents in Vienna on five occasions and received financial rewards in exchange for his betrayal. Investigations revealed that the intelligence he shared allowed Israel to precisely target and martyr a key nuclear scientist during its airstrikes earlier this summer.
Vadi was tried and sentenced to death following a full legal process, including review and confirmation by the Supreme Court. He was executed by hanging in West Azerbaijan province on Wednesday morning.
A Pattern of Espionage Amid War
Vadi is one of several spies Iran has apprehended and punished since Israel’s brutal 12-day campaign in June. The Zionist regime’s strikes killed over a dozen nuclear scientists, senior IRGC personnel, and hundreds of civilians. In response, Iranian security agencies launched an extensive counter-intelligence operation.
In recent weeks, seven spies linked to foreign intelligence services have been executed, and many more have been arrested. The judiciary also confirmed the execution of Mehdi Asgharzadeh, affiliated with Daesh (ISIS), who had received terrorist training in Syria and Iraq and plotted sabotage inside Iran.
Iran Responds to Zionist Aggression
The execution of Vadi is seen as a firm message from Iran’s leadership: treachery will not be tolerated. While Israel attempted to cripple Iran’s nuclear program through violence and assassination, Iran has responded by reinforcing national security and bringing traitors to justice.
Officials stressed that the judiciary followed due process, and the punishment was carried out in accordance with the law and the gravity of the crime — betraying the nation and enabling the martyrdom of a nuclear scientist.
This marks a continuing chapter in the Islamic Republic’s resistance against Zionist espionage and subversion. (PW)
